The best part about ManageEngine Remote Access Plus is that it supports Windows, Mac and Linux-based operating system hence it is the perfect choice for the organization. Through a single software, admin is able to control and take remote of every computer of the organization. We are using it to get the complete inventory of the hardware and software installed on the system. It provides complete control features like we can share file over remote system, copy and paste something from one system to another, and drag and drop the files hence it make it easy for troubleshooting the remote computer. Our admin can easily control the remote support and support them over voice, video, or text support. We are also able to access the remote registry of the end machine, we can do command execution on power shell and command prompt with admin level privilege. So, in a nutshell we can completely manage the endpoint and do the troubleshooting if required remotely and we can have complete report for audit and reporting purposes.

It is an agent based solution which is a major disadvantage. We can not control the system which do not have agent installed on them. Hence this is a disadvantage. Even installing agent is a big task in a large organization.
Till the agent are not installed on every system we can not have full control over the organization network. Agent deployment takes time hence we can utilize the product with its full efficiency.
The pricing is very high, and it goes on increasing as we add more technician and endpoints.
The connection gets drop sometime while controlling in new release because it contains some bugs. We also need to have proper bandwidth for using it smoothly.
The implementation and deployment takes time and needs proper support from vendor. Sufficient documentation are also not available.

ManageEngine Remote Access Plus is very well suited in environments which consist hybrid operating system. It supports all types of OS like windows, Mac, and Linux. It helps in taking the remote of system and troubleshoot the m if any problem occurs hence engineers do not need to be physically present on the location for the purpose of solving it. It helps to keep a complete track of endpoints that what application, process is being used. It is not well suited in environment where there is no Active directory or SCCM server because ManageEngine Remote Access Plus need agent to work and deploying agent the environment where Active directory does not exist is a big task. Manually deploying agent on every system is very time taking and need so much of effort.
Remote Access Plus makes it easy to manage remote computers and gives the admin the access to figure out issues or to take control. Its really helped with troubleshooting remote workers issues especially the ones that work from home. It is really easy to setup and offers a nice layout view. My self and my team can easily launch it and get into whatever machine we need to within seconds, it really has cut down on troubleshooting times and has created a cost savings by saving time each time we use it.

It has really helped us in troubleshooting end user laptop issues when they are working from home and arent really sure what the issue is. Its a great tool for anyone troubleshooting issues remotely and you can quickly solve them. Just recently a team member used it for a end user that wasn't even sure what the problem was and it was diagnosed and resolved within minutes saving us a ton of time from just talking on the phone.

We have about 150 users and more than 300 PC's laptops and servers. Some users are working remotely from home. The tool is mainly used to connect to all these computers remotely for troubleshooting and user support, as well as for installing 3rd party tools with admin privileges.
Additionally, we use it occasionally to wake up computers from sleep, restart PC's and servers and for power off devices on the network remotely.

If you are looking for a product that allows you to easily manage and remote onto desktop both office and home based then this is the product for you. Easy to set up and easy to use with an intuitive user interface, it makes remote access and troubleshooting much better than some competitor products.

I would rather recommend another product if you need robust, good support and reliable product. The product depends on the license you and also on the infra model you use. It goes well for remote users just if they are conencted to the VPN. If not, the support is impossible if you use the onPrem version.

Some of the functionality, although it works, could be more streamlined to enhance the experience.
