Powerful, Easy-to-Use and Scalable Platform That Rivals Much More Complex Competitors

Pros

  • Easy to use platform with a full feature set.
  • Responsive and helpful customer support.
  • Scalable and flexible environment.
  • Affordable and reasonable price points.

Cons

  • There are often errors with automatic updates and management of 3rd party tools including software such as Plesk.
  • I think the communication options could be improved. It isn't as easy to set up alerts as you would want.
  • Your plans are grandfathered so you are somewhat stuck with an old plan.

  • It is a huge part of our overall web offerings. We depend on Media Temple day-to-day for a large contingency of clients.
  • Reduction in costs and increase in bandwidth.
  • An easy learning curve for new staff and semi-technical employees.

  • Great user interface.
  • Great performance.
  • Creating a Wordpress website is very easy.

Cons

  • We had some issues changing static files (like robots.txt) since it was cached by the server.
  • Had some stability issues with one of our websites.
  • It's not cheap if you compare it to other great services.

Return on Investment

  • We had a great experience managing some virtual machines with no issues, getting more things done in less time.
  • Even our clients could do some managing and inspection without technical skills, since its interface is user-friendly.
  • It's not a cheap solution, so simpler websites could have the same features spending less.
