I use Monster.com portal for Sourcing the candidate profile for my business needs. While other portals are too costly, Monster.com provides us a valuable and cost effective services. I always prefer to use Monster.com for my non-It and IT requirements. It provides me an good number of search results. It will be definitely TAT.

I'm managing a team and I always prefer my team to use Monster.com portal for an effective search. I recommend to use Boolean or power search where Monster.com is very good in that. I am a recruiter in a staffing company, fetching profiles according to clients' requirements. Monster.com helps the recruiter and the organization to find qualified candidates according to their business needs. Monster.com has many candidates for every location and different skill sets. Monster.com also provides job posting features and resume filtering, reducing the turnaround time. The scope of my use case is Monster.com job posting and sourcing candidates itself complete the entire cycle of recruitment, which helps me to attract the candidate from the job posting, and if they are not aware of the job posting, we can use the ATS or sourcing tool to reach them if they are fit for the role.

Monster.com has a very vast database, and there is always the possibility of getting the profile for a particular region or for a specific skill set. It is easier to fetch the profile from mid to senior-level roles and use search all over the world, which means global search is less appropriate because it is costly for a third party or a small company.

Also, Monster.com has the best filtering options which makes it more helpful for employers to filter out the best resources.

Monster.com is the best to find the talented resources. For an instance a company is looking for a software engineer, Monster.com can access resumes qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
Monster.com has the best filter options that help employers to fetch the best resources.
Monster.com excels in offering user-friendly recruitment platform that fulfill to the needs of employers in attracting, screening, and hiring top talent.

Monster.com can integrate with other ATS (Applicant tracking systems) which help organizations with advanced HR Systems.
Monster.com can add some filters like salary range an employer is looking for a particular job which candidate has already mentioned while uploading profile on Monster.com.
Monster.com can reduce some pricing in some of its premium plans.

With Monster.coms ability to target broad candidate groups and its easy job posting tools, i successfully attracted a large number of applicants quickly. Additionally, its resume database search feature allowed me to access a wide variety of applicants and contact them directly, speeding up the hiring process. With the help of Monster.com i was able to hire 20 CSR's in two weeks.

Monster.com sold themselves as the recruitment company but this is far from the truth of the matter, as if you live on the coast ( Rhyl) of the UK your job search on their program will going out to sea and when you tell them you have had no one reply to your job ad they tell you to move the job over to another town like Wrexham & Chester when your looking for someone local, and not from outside of the area. On complaining they make out its you and not them as candidates are not interested in your job and couldn't care less if you find someone or not and all their interested in is the money We have moved over to indeed and within 2 days bang people are applying for the three jobs we have on offer and all three jobs have now been filled and guess what not one person has applied from Monster.com tells you everything about Monster.com. Don't waste your money or your time with Monster.com, go straight to Indeed if you want results.

We use Monster.com as a means of finding the right candidates for job openings. I work as a contracted recruiter for companies, and Monster.com often has a great range of people actively looking for work. We also submit job descriptions to get a feel for who is out there in the market. I feel the people on Monster.com are more niche than the ones on competing sites, and it makes the response rate much higher.

I think Monster.com is great in terms of finding interested candidates. Instead of cold-calling/contacting people out of the blue that may not be looking for work, you can set up an open job posting and see what the market is currently like. As stated before, I think the community/people who use Monster.com is smaller than some of the other large competing sites, which is actually beneficial for recruiters like me. I can find the people avidly looking for work and reach out to them.

As a technical recruiter Monster.com is one of the best platforms I use almost all day to search for various candidates who are looking for various jobs in Information technology or Non-IT. It provides the best quality resumes. In Monster.com as a recruiter we got the option to look for candidates in different locations while the person is looking for full-time opportunity or part-time. It somehow plays a most important role in my day to day recruiting life and I will highly recommend Monster.com to other recruiters as well to use it on daily basis to get better results in their careers.

Cons

Multiple resume with same email address.
Please update in showing results from recently updated resumes to past updated while someone enters some keywords.

While using Monster.com in everyday recruiting it gives wide options to look for candidates. Sometimes it happens that while I thought that a profile might be fake, seeing those profiles with company started and review the thoughts change completely and somehow the problem is resolved in Monster.com only. So it's highly recommend by me to other recruiters to sort profiles through Monster.com only.

We use this for the sourcing resume for the clients in the US. Largest collection of candidate's resume. Very useful filters to find the best resource qualified for the role. Easily tract the open and new resumes. Power search is very useful to get the resource on time. Can easily get you the good profile in a limited calls.

It is very well for the IT recruitment. Database of the C2C is candidate is very large and very helpful. Monster.com timely do the updates so less bugs and less issues compared to other portals. Using different to get the best potential candidate is very good while using Monster Job Portal.
