We are using SolarWinds Mail Assure for our whole organization to filter email destined for our on-premises exchange server. I am excited that they are working on an add-in for Outlook that works similarly to the add-in they have for Office 365. It is a very flexible filter and it works great.
Pros
It does a good job of not having false positives.
I really enjoy the flexibility of the filters.
The cost of this solution is very low.
Cons
I am waiting for the Outlook plugin as those are more similar to what we were used to.
I wish there were links inserted at the bottom of each message to have a single link to train as spam or not spam instead of needing to export the email file and then use those files to train through their website (a single click is much easier than a complex set of actions).
Likelihood to Recommend
SolarWinds Mail Assure is well suited to medium and large sized organizations that need a configurable and flexible mail filter. It is likely to not be appropriate for marketing firms that want a set it and forget it sort of filter that needs no adjustment.

We are using Mail Assure with our managed services practice to support our clients. We have several clients that are looking for email protection and we provide that with Mail Assure. We set it to work with their on-site Exchange, Office 365, or GSuite mail systems for spam filtering and security.
Pros
Spam filtering
Adaptive learning for security
Cons
Bit of a learning curve.
Needs close watch for a bit after implementation.

Works really well for spam filtering in emails for our clients. If you have a lot of employees you want to prevent phishing and spam from getting to them. We recently had a client that had their whole company blacklisted by Microsoft because a good number of their staff fell for phishing emails. We implemented Mail Assure and this has nearly eliminated the emails they had been getting.
We sue it as a spam filter currently and are looking to enable the archive eventually. Currently, my entire office staff uses it to cut down on the number of junk emails they receive.
Pros
Incoming mail spam filtering.
Cons
SMTP scanning trips some spam filters.
Releasing a quarantined spam email often requires admin intervention.
Console access is cumbersome for end users.
Likelihood to Recommend
It takes a bit of effort to make it go and work properly. After implementation, clients need to be aware it may cause issues in the short term with sending out an email if you set up SMTP scanning, but in the interest of protection, it is worth the aggravation especially if you're worried about your users getting their email compromised.
