Netvault is a convenient application to use for all system backups and restores in our organization. As a financial organization, it is crucial to have our data backed-up regularly and we use Netvault specially to backup our stand alone servers. In addition to this, the great benefit is being able to encrypt our backups on specific data sets via Hardware encryption. Also on some occasions, we are required to share our backups with the other parties and we can easily do this task on the platform with users who are also using Netvault as their solution.

- Smartdisk disconnect oftenly.
- Web interface can be improved as it is clunky and looks outdated.
- User guides and support services need to be improved.
- Limited with VMWare plugin.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you are using NV for backups and restores, it does the job very well. You can rely on the functions and time it as you prefer it to be executed. They have a great plug-in library which provides integrations of many applications and many databases. The updated versions support better job creations and restorations. You can easily depend on your backups without a hassle. However if you go ahead with its advanced features, you many need further support. Would not recommend using the Cleaning Tape module.There are issues in the reports provided. Also you may face with disk latency issues.
