Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Nuix Discover is mainly being used by our legal department. With Nuix Discover, I am able to provide the legal team with all the information that they need to complete their review. Nuix helps us locate private data that may be at risk of loss or exposure. Once we know what's at stake, we are able to secure this data with Nuix.

Export feature has some kinks

Cloud is a little slow

Nuix Discover is a great program for any legal department. It makes reviewing documents very simple and streamlined. Nuix is the best at deleted file recovery in the email space while maintaining the fast speed. When searching your documents or the database, Nuix is able to pull up the related search items very quickly as well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Ringtail is a great litigation platform. There were some production export problems which I encountered (.dat files not exporting native link, etc. and .opt files breaking at 50,000 lines) which were problematic at times. At the time I left the firm I was with those issues were not yet resolved and it is possible that those issues may have been on the vendor side of things (FTI Consulting). Ringtail's analytic tools are also quite impressive and can go along way in expediting the document review process.

Pros

Search Term family searches are very good.
Persistent highlighting is a plus.
Creating folders and organizing documents based on saved searches is a snap.

Cons

Production exports need to be error free.
Needs to have a clawback watermark overlay option for production renditions.
The analytical mines are a bit overwhelming for legal team review members to understand.

It is a great litigation review platform.
