I use to streamline and automate various administrative tasks,document management,sceduling meeting and appointments etc.Problems that are addressed by OMS include effective employee collabration, it reduces manual efforts and saves time, it stiches communication gaps.OMS helps in organizing data, documents, and tasks, ensuring that information is easily accessible when needed.

  • Ih helps in inventory management, thus providing detailed updates on how much stock in availabe and at any moment can retrieve the detailed reports.
  • It helps to schedule daily meeting and appointments with clients
  • Save and retrieve real time orders information.

Cons

  • No much but can improve user interface and make it more user friendly.
  • Increase security to keep the system a step ahead from Cybr attacks
  • Make the application scalable to ease addition of users

Return on Investment

  • There are lot of postive impacts and quite less effect on business, still including some of them-
  • Positive impacts are efficiency, data security,organizing in systematic manner etc.
  • Negative impact was empolyees were resisting to adopt the new system but later it worked using the training facility from OMS team and user manuals.

OMS is great for wholesale B2B businesses. OMS needs to refresh and update the user interface.

Pros

  • OMS is suitable for wholesale businesses to track inventory and sell based on cases or pallets.
  • OMS allows wholesale pricing structures. We could invoice based on customer tier/category or by units sold.
  • OMS onboarding was a smooth process. Their team is helpful, proactive and professional. We received live training to our team over 2 days. We had followup questions which were answered by email or phone promptly.

Cons

  • OMS software been around for a long time and they have thoughtfully added features for wholesale businesses. However, the software is in need of an update that makes the software easier to use and more modern.
  • The user flow could be improved and the layout could be more intuitive. It is inconvenient to change between modules. It takes time for team members to become familiar with the software.
  • We appreciate the ability to import/export data, however we wish that this feature was easier to use for the team. Currently only a few members with technology experience are able to use the feature.

Return on Investment

  • OMS reduced invoicing errors by allowing us to sell based on wholesale units, like cases or pallets.
  • We previously used cloud based software where we experienced downtime and could not create invoices. We do not experience any down time with OMS.
  • OMS is purchased as a lump sump 1 time payment, so we are not surprised by any pricing changes. However we incurred the cost of setting up a server and backing up the data.
