The robust RPA

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The microfocus Operations Orchestration product is implanted both as an automation services hub for different users and as a full RPA bot for several use cases as it utilizes a different sequence of technical flows wrapping the automatic remediation process with AI that has extensive decision-making algorithms that we customized to work with the organization's policies and regulations. The most ambitious RPA use case is a robotic support engineer, working directly with the organization's service desk & monitoring systems. As an automation hub, it is used by most of the IT services consumers either directly with the product self-service portal or from different user portals and systems as it performs the automated flows with api requests. The automation hub is further developed by the support teams or any 3rd tier team that wishes to automate their day-to-day work and services.

Pros

  • Fast changes and maintenance to automation since its basically a "drag and drop" work to created or edit automations
  • Low footprint across the DC since it uses remote protocols and doesn't require additional client installations
  • Plug n' play integrations for most IT platforms with an extremely high number of content packs and product integration so we very really need to do any development.
  • The option to simply Record user actions with the recorder tool make it so non-technical personnel can also automate their work on the platform

Cons

  • The product build in portal need to be more flexible

Return on Investment

  • Product enabled reduce manpower and overall costs for most services implement.
  • The ROI is constantly being measured and evaluated by the product portal as time&money measurements
