I would definitely recommend Pilot.com for their accounting services. Their bookkeeping is very straight forward and reliable with a possibility to be as involved as you need to be. Their tax team is also great and very knowledgeable which comes in handy. They are also improving the scope of their services and features with a lot of new ones rolled out recently.

Every month, they handle our bookkeeping.
Every month, they manage our accounts payable.
Every month, they add new vendors as needed.
Every month, they maintain our QuickBooks.

Cons

Some issues on the onboarding, just defining the scope of the project. But they've refined it.

I think they are a great fit for any small business looking for bookkeeping and even some ap services. I like all the financial reporting they do, which is something I would struggle with on my own.

Pilot is great for early-stage startups in any vertical. They handle the entire financial stack and will save you a lot of time on that front. Their CFO services are also great regardless of the vertical you are in. As a founder, this is something you shouldn't waste your time on, and with Pilot you can feel secure.

Honestly I don't really have any feedback - they've continued to add features and services at a pace that I think is impressive for a company their size and scope.

I think Pilot.com is great for small businesses or VC-backed startups in seed or series A stage, maybe series B. I think it would be so helpful in fundraising at an early-stage startup. We're a two-person company with a multi-million dollar budget, so it's helpful for folks like us to have an expert on hand.

I would say that only room for improvement would be to offer more educational opportunities that explain what the numbers mean.

The accounting integration works well once defined but also gives the sense that is a little bit blind, so you need to continuously take a look at the integrations made, so you cannot trust 100%. Also the robot it's a little bit blind so there is the need for a human to take a look at what the software makes. Definitely understand the client's business and needs are something to improve.
