Portworx is a cloud-native storage company designed to be used by enterprises to reduce the cost and complexity of rapidly deploying containerized applications across multiple clouds and on-prem environments. With Portworx, the user can manage any database or stateful service on any infrastructure using any container scheduler. It provides a single data management layer for stateful services, no matter where they run. Portworx thrives in multi-cloud environments. Portworx aggregates underlying storage in the cloud (AWS EBS, Google PD, etc) or on-prem (bare metal, NetApp, EMC, vSAN, etc) and turns it into a container-native storage fabric.

Portworx was acquired by Pure Storage September, 2020, and is now a Pure Storage brand.
