PremiSys [ID] is used in our HR department to create employee identification badges. 100% of employees are required to wear id badges. They are also used to swipe/clock in at our UKG Ready timeclocks. We use a interleaved 2 of 5 barcode for a shorter barcode which takes up less space on the face of the badge.
Pros
- Simple templates to setup badge formats
- Allows for importing from our ERP system to eliminate double keying of employee information
- Customer support is excellent
- Free upgrades & support will install them for us
Cons
- Setting up a new badge or moving data around is antiquated for a program updated in 2020
- Should be ran from a users desktop via browser instead of a client/server type program
- Need more printers to print to other than a desktop ink jet printer or a SUPER HIGH end badge printer
Likelihood to Recommend
[PremiSys ID] works well for our ~3,500 employee district. Badge printing can be slow because of using an ink jet printer. Does what we need it to do w/o a lot of bells-and-whistles.
