Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Provide Support Live Chat is currently being used by my Customer Service Department. It allows customers to visit our website and ask questions concerning products we sell. We currently have 3 active users that are interacting with potential customers between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm, Mondays - Fridays. All interaction is real time.

Pros

  • Allow potential customers to ask specific questions about products.
  • Saves time by eliminating scammers by questions my team asks.
  • Allows Customer Service to gain information that will be pertinent for future purchases.
  • Allows potential customers to gain a quick answer as opposed to researching entire website.
  • Real time interactions are always better than simply surfing a website.

Cons

  • Does not allow us to flag a particular 'consumer' as a scammer.

Provide Support Live Chat is a very user friendly tool. It allows my Customer Service Team to perform their daily duties and easily access live chats when needed. It's really great because we can ask for contact information so we can research questions if needed and then reply back in a timely manner. Our customers and potential customers can always have access to a live person.

Provide Support Live Chat is used by our sales and support teams to provide live chat assistance to current and potential customers. This allows customers to easily contact our representatives without having to call or fill out an online form. In this day and age, customers are more likely to reach out via chat than they are by phone or email.

  • Chat transcripts are automatically emailed

  • Auto-login, so you don't forget to login in the morning
  • Operator chat window seems outdated
  • Billing could be more clear
