Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Gtmhub as the strategic planning framework for our marketing efforts. LifeOmic is a multi-faceted software company with products that span D2C, B2B and enterprise. Gtmhub supports the visibility and alignment of our marketing efforts to ensure we achieve our overarching company goals. We use it across our demand generation, product and content teams.

Pros

Aligning to overarching goals
Relatively simple to use UI with a great recommendation engine as you are building OKRs
A lot of support resources for the product as well as for orgs implementing OKRs for the first time

Cons

Sometimes can lag a bit - not a deal breaker but an opportunity to be a bit more zippy

Gtmhub is great for aligning cross-functional marketing team members on centralized goals. In general, different positions have different tactics to support the same goal and Gtmhub provides really easy visibility into how each person is contributing. OKRs are a relatively straightforward framework but Gtmhub helps make the planning process much more straightforward than a makeshift or manual solution.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

[Koan] is currently being used in the SPAR Central Office Logistics Department.
[Koan] is used to focus the work and effort of a small team supporting the wider Logistics function in SPAR.
[Koan] is used as part of the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) to support the WHY? Statement of the department.
[Koan] keeps the team focused on the key issues that must be addressed and focused on every quarter.

Pros

Ease and simplicity of use of the software.
Willingness of the KOAN team to support and address questions and queries.
Flexibility in the usage and tracking of the OKR methodology.
Ensure that there is "one version of the truth" that is up to date and available for all team members.

Cons

Able to contrast and compare quarterly results over a 12 month period.
More graphical approach to show progress made and results achieved.
Ability to add free form questions with radio buttons to assist in gathering evaluations or assessment on a particular team issue.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think that [Koan] can be used in all scenarios where a team of people are accountable for specific results. The tool is flexible enough to use in all circumstances with all types of operational, tactical or strategic teams.
