Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use QuickBooks Online for invoicing our clients. It makes it easy to keep track of P&L as well as our accounts receivables through QuickBooks Online. Clients can even pay us directly using the "pay now" tab which opens a link to our bank account and we get paid quickly. Making adjustments to the line items in invoicing is also easy and extremely legiable for all parties to read. This works for our company.

This is well suited for individalized invoicing where you need more control over line entries versus large quantity output invoicing. It is doable for that type of invoicing as well and would make business smoother but this is especially compatible for companies like ours where we have to have more specifics in the details.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use QuickBooks Online with our sales and payroll, so far no issues or problem with the product as of now. Using QuickBooks Online we can check if all accounts are accurate and we can also easily reconcile if there is any discrepancies with our entries whenever we pulled out the accounts.

It is user friendly as long as you know basic accounting, you can use QuickBooks Online with no problems, you just need to familiarize the account name that was created and tag each account name for easy filtering to get the correct balances of each accounts that was created.

We use QBO to manage our business accounting. It allows us to manage bank accounts, loans, vendor billing and client invoicing. It's great to have one solution to handle all of these business items. Plus it allows our accountant to access the information they need to assist with any questions, issues and tax filings.

Bank recs can be too clunky
Would be good to be able to manage other payment forms - Venmo, Zelle, etc.
More flexibility in report writing

We are switching over to QuickBooks Online, due to it is more versatile than our current system. The current system we use isn't geared to accounting, but educational aspects. Therefore, it doesn't perform the way you expect accounting software to work. And due to prior experience, using QuickBooks will give us more flexibility and customizable entries and reports.

We use it every day. I invoice our clinets through QuickBooks Online multiple times a month. I also do bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online as well. I am able to give my CPA access as well.

For example, I can quickly send invoices, set up recurring payments, and see which clients need a reminder—all in one place. It's also great for tax prep, keeping everything organized for my accountant. It's also super easy to invite bookkeepers or accountants in to do their magic (it's a favorite tool of theirs as well).
