DEXT is a MUST

Manage bank reconciliations, verify ABN's, GST compliance, supplier rules, customer insights. I use DEXT extensively. It is essential in my business operating efficiently to the extent I insist on my clients using it at time of sign up.

- On the Inbox screen include a 'due date' column so items can be easily sorted in due date order to assist managing accounts payable
- improve the data matching between XERO and DEXT. Currently it performance is 'random' and does not occur on each customer file. Seems it is something that needs to be requested from support. It should be an automatic feature

Dext reliably scans and extracts all necessary info from our bills and moves them to Xero without issue. The amount of time we save EVERY DAY is enormous. You need to ensure your settings are done well to make it work the most reliably, but once you are set, you are gold!

- Recognizes duplicate bills and lets you review and choose what you want to do with them
- Transfers data to Xero quickly and without error
Cons
- email documents do not always arrive in Dext. Sometimes i have to print and upload them.
- credits, unless they are obvious can appear as charges
- I would love to be able to pull the purchase order number into the transfer to Xero. An option to decide what I want to bring into Xero would be BRILLIANT!
Return on Investment
- Bookkeeping costs are WAY down, 50-60 bills per day can be entered in 5 minutes (or less) after a quick review, whereas entering manually in Xero would take a couple of hours.
- Accuracy is so much better than manual entry as humans are simply human and make mistakes. Especially when you are dealing with volumes.
- Easy to find bills that have been processed, viewing bills easily and tracking back to Xero if necessary. The link provided is exceptionally helpful

After years of lost receipts and missing petty cash records, Dext Prepare (with Receipt Bank) has solved the issue simply and quickly.
Each of our managers has an account that allows them easy access to upload receipts and invoices that could otherwise be lost on their travels to the main office, as we run busy bars shops and finance/accounts are not onsite.

We are using Dext Prepare for our receipt capturing platform. It makes it very easy to capture receipts, invoices, bills, and it is also very easy to upload these invoices. There are multiple ways of uploading receipts and they are very convenient. We used to scan, save copies of invoices, and email across each other but we don't need to do that anymore.
