We use Ring.io as our phone support for our sales team members. It links very well with Zoho and with the price point it is hard to beat. The functionality surrounding the integration allows for our users to have the flexibility to capture conversations in Ring.io which transfer directly into Zoho. Ring.io does allow for custom migration of particular data points as well.
Pros
Flexibility of Application
Integration into Zoho
Call quality
Cons
We have run into some issues with outages due to their upstream partner
Adding the capability to make adjustment's to the GUI interface
Likelihood to Recommend
We have call campaigns that require a power dialer, well that is included in the price. We also have the need for texting and that functionality is available.
We use Ring.io as a dialer in conjunction with CRM. It enables us to call with a click which is a very convenient function. In addition to this, Ring.io can record calls and provides analytics to discover the best practices of the best performers. This allows us to spend less time tracking activities and we can devote more time to sales calls.
Pros
Easy to add users and account numbers.
Ability to see sales activities such as dials and length of calls.
Exceptional customer support.
Cons
Wish there was a mobile app.
Sometimes the outbound dial count resets.
Lacking a notification of an inbound call while you are currently on a call.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you normally operate strictly on outbound calls, this is a great resource as well as the call recording functionality. However, in terms of functionality for inbound calls, it is lacking. As I already mentioned, there is no mobile app option which hinders its accessibility to some of our team members.
Ring.io is used by our student tele-counseling team to communicate with prospective students and their parents in the admissions application process. The tool seamlessly integrates with Salesforce as a Chrome browser extension and enables our students to drop voicemails without wasting time waiting for the voicemail process. Plus, the quick-dial with Salesforce integration allows easy tracking of how many calls have been made in any span of time.
Pros
Salesforce integration: allows users to track activities and create follow-up items if needed based on the nature of the call.
Web-based calling: using a Chrome browser extension, callers do not have to leave the browser to make calls, drop voicemails, and work through a calling queue.
Voice-mail recording: prepare voicemails in advance and drop the voicemails into voice mailboxes without repeatedly leaving the same message repeatedly.
Cons
Outdated user interface is not visually the most appealing aspect of Ring.io.
User licensing is based on the number of user accounts rather than the number of users logged in at one-time.
Ring.io sales team was non-responsive to inquiries, but ease of product implementation made up for lack of pre-sales communication.
Likelihood to Recommend
Ring.io is great for a low-budget, moderate call volume workload. The ease of Salesforce integration and web-based calling makes this a more affordable option than some other robust solutions. The voicemail-drop feature saves tremendous time for callers who frequently reach voicemails more than humans. The ability to assign a caller ID makes the calling number trusted and increases caller response.
Our entire business development and account management team uses Ring.io for the majority of our calls. It helps us by automatically logging all of our calls, and allowing us to direct dial with click-to-call through Salesforce. This saves a lot of time when trying to make a bunch of calls.
We've also tested out creating different designations that will allow business development representatives to log the status of a call with just one click (eg. LVM, spoke to gatekeeper, set up meeting).
Overall it's been a good experience and the phones are relatively easy to manage. All the data is synced to Salesforce for us, and setting up new users is pretty simple.
Pros
Ring.io logs all of our call information in Salesforce automatically, including the length of the call.
Ring.io records all of the calls that take place so we can use the recordings to listen back for training purposes.
Ring.io makes it easy and efficient to click to dial, saving time and allowing reps to work off reports without having a million windows open.
Cons
Ring.io could do a better job with inbound calls - it frequently just shows the number, even if the person is in Salesforce.
Likelihood to Recommend
Ring.io is very well suited for a team of outbound business development representatives that plan on making a bunch of calls throughout the day. It's perfect for a rep that wants to get out a large volume of calls in a short period of time, and helps with collaboration and tracking by making all the activity visible in our CRM.
Our sales team is using it for every cold-call that we make in order to bring new companies to the table. It helps replicate a number that is in the same area as the company we are trying to reach. Most of the sales team is calling outside of Illinois and ring.io increases our chances of getting our desired demographic to answer the call.
Pros
Helps hide the actual number in which we are calling from
Rarely drops a call
Gets people to answer our calls
Cons
Sometimes calls will randomly get dropped
It seems as if the same number is used for each area, so if we could have different numbers for each call that would be ideal
Likelihood to Recommend
It is suited for cold-calling, and trying to get a hold of people that tend to not pick up the phone.
