Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Robocorp really help full for software automation, software test automation. This tool is fast to automate processes, the error handling in robocorp is easy to any developers. This is python based open-source tool so it is cost minimum robotic process automation tool. Basically it is code based RPA tool so users to have interest to automate processes.

Pros

Scheduling using windows scheduler is easy.
Fast development and execution is possible
Error handling is easy
Integration with python libraries is simple
library customization with python is most helpful

Cons

Add more inbuilt packages for easy build.
create simple and useful UI with drag and drop facility
create some log libraries for live monitoring for development time

It is suitable for UI(web, desktop, SAP), Test Automation. Basically It gives correct identification of every elements in web with helps of xpath, that provides the accurate automation bots. It provides ease of development, integration, deployment and monitoring with helps of control room, it is useful for developers and monitoring teams. Robocorp save the time and cost.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Robocorp uses python and selenium frameworks for automation. It is an open source tool and their pricing based on usage. I have automated a finance POC to perform reconciliation.

Handling excel with huge data
Implementing more keywords with respect to excel function such as Vlook up
Using Excel as data base and writing queries on that

Likelihood to Recommend

Robocorp is best as it's open source and it's very suitable for web automation. They need to improve on the excel function when it comes to handling huge data. In my experience, execution speed is slow when we have huge data to be manipulated.

Robocorp is one of the best RPA tool available in the market. In our organization, we were having manual repetitive tasks which are now automated using Robocorp. This helped in faster development and execution. The power of python and being open-source makes the tool very powerful when compared to other tools available in the market. Robocorp can be used by both beginners and advanced users.

Pros

Integration with python libraries are excellent
Faster execution of robots.
Flexibility in creating the bots.
Scheduling the bot runs

Cons

Improve the documentations with more examples.
Include more built-in libraries
Tool consumes large memory and space

Likelihood to Recommend

Robocorp is very good at executing browsers, email, and other types of automation. Only found difficulties while automating the desktop applications. I prefer to use this tool for all scenarios except desktop application automation. Python libraries help in automating various tasks and are very fast at the execution time.

When it comes to RPA , preferred tool is Robocorp since its comes with both on-premise and cloud variant much lesser cost in fact free of cost to developer to build robots with inbuild -Robot LAB or opt for Visual code. Robocorp supports RPA Framework which consists of collection open-source libraries which easily integrated to build, test and run complex process

Control room to monitor Robots
Support forum to address queries

Cons

Plug -play activity so that citizen developer more willingness to learn

Robocorp suits from Webscrapping, Desktop Automation like Excel manipulation, Reading mails & triggering based on subject/from/to/attachment. Http/API some CRM tools expose the data via API with authorization/token hence data can be retrieved in json/xml format. Citrix Automation which is the most complex of all sometimes wouldn't get selectors from the screen, in these scenarios using Optical character recognition - image automation gives better results.
