SAP Business Data Cloud

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SAP Analytics Cloud for monthly financial planning and reporting in addition with a SAP BW/4 system which is connected via live connection. Currently our BW/4 system is still on premise, but we check if an integration in the SAP Business Data Cloud makes sense. SAC as part of the SAP Business Data Cloud universe provides respective functionality to collect the respective plan data via direct input layouts as well as Excel-based input or upload functionality, which is required by our businesses. In addition we use the validations and data action functionality to ensure data quality and perform additional calculations.

  • Performance and stability is not always given especially compared to other more usecase-specialized products

Return on Investment
