All our engineers use Simcenter Femap on a daily basis.We use it for problems ranging from aircraft GFEMs to small coupons used for validation purposes.

Pros

Simcenter Femap is well linked with NX Nastran such that the .dat file can be manipulated from within the software
The API interface makes it highly automatized

Cons

Some versions are prematurely released containing many bugs
