The ability to create and instantly share documents with colleagues has been highly appreciated, saving time and money. Slite serves as an internal knowledge base for customer support teams, allowing new joiners to quickly access the information they need. It has also been utilized as a repository for course content in classrooms, fostering a collaborative workspace for students. The search functionality in Slite has received high praise, making it effortless to find information within the platform. Overall, Slite is lauded as a productive and efficient tool for asynchronous work, helping teams track projects and deadlines effectively. It eliminates the hassle of scattered Google Docs by providing a single place to share thoughts and collaborate with colleagues. Slite excels in building and maintaining a knowledge base, facilitating seamless knowledge sharing throughout the company. It improves visibility of project documentation and ensures document consistency through standardized formats. Additionally, Slite serves as a central repository for nearly every aspect of a business, offering an easy-to-search platform for essential company-wide information.
I use Slite primarily to document and share information within the company in one centralized place while organizing for different teams and needs. I use it to house my team's hub, which has multiple sub-documents that are full of resources for the team to use. I love that you can create templates and be able to easily build out pages as well as link out to different programs like Figma or a video, or Google Workspace files that are super helpful for the team to be able to access. It helps to have a spot everyone can go for self-serve, too, so I'm not having to send out links or documents repeatedly, so for us, it really helps to boost efficiency and process alignment.
Pros
Efficiently being able to build pages
Keeping track of projects
Centralizing documentation
Sharing resources and allowing teams their unique spaces
Cons
Editing capabilities! I'd love more editing options.
Integration capabilities and customization
Intuitiveness in creating new documents with different styling

It is well suited for entire companies to use not just small teams because you can create so many workspaces and folders which allow better organization for a centralized space. For example, if you want to create for one team a folder thats a Social Media Marketing Hub you can have that with supportive resources, documents, meet the team section, and so much more. You can have another folder for other teams like HR and HR Resources where everyone has visibility into the documents and anything added under that section. It's super helpful.
Slite is used for design, product and engineering notes and documents. Primary as a daily and weekly journal for teams to keep notes and organize agile rituals and meetings. Secondarily, it's relied upon to keep ongoing documentation for key product and user experience decisions, background information and assorted historical details.
Pros
Templates for meeting notes
Cross-functional collaboration
Search and retrieval of content
Summarizing recent activity
Cons
Integrations with chat apps like Slack
Could use better visual tools and whiteboards
The genAI features are still fairly shallow

Many many similar tools like Slite. No reason to pick this one over the myriad of others.

It is helping manage our documentation and processes all in one place. It is helping with company updates and product releases. It is nice that everyone has access to shared boards and private boards to use. We also use it to track customer feedback after a big release.
Pros
I love how easy it is to organize my notes through Slite.
I enjoy being able to insert tables and images easily without a lot of hassle.
I also like all of the channels you have in Slite. It makes it very easy to navigate what documentation you are looking for, without having to go to like a main page or something similar to find it.
It is easy and convenient that everything is all on one page.
Cons
I don't love that it doesn't integrate easily with the other tools we use, at least it doesn't as far as I know.
Since there is not an Excel sort of capability there is no way it could ever replace Google, so it is sometimes easier to just use Word docs instead of Slite since everything is in one place.
I think if Slite extended their product line up, it would be more attractive to use exclusively, instead of just using it for documentation.

If you are not a Gsuite user then using Slite is a great alternative! You essentially have the same functionality of being able to share notes and documents with other team members, as well as keeping notes and documents private.
