We implemented Spekit in a Sales Organization use-case. We needed Speks/ Spekit accessible in Salesforce to guide sales representatives through the stage gates and key fields in our new Sales Process. Our team has also included key Marketing materials within Spekit to have reps find what they need when they need it. This has now expanded to our Marketing and Renewal Management group due to the success of the implementation.
Pros
Customer Feedback- I have a voice!
Stellar Implementation Support
Great Customer Communication
Accessibility of CSM/ Account Team
Cons
Click Through Analytics
SharePoint Integration (very new)
Dashboards -although improvement consistently

I would recommend Spekit for use cases for any customer facing group or even internal support team. This tool is useful if have several disparate systems and need a reference Chrome Extension that can follow you wherever you are in your workflow. If you are trying to solve the problem "content lives in too many places", this is the tool for your organization.
Spekit is the just-in-time learning platform for our Sales & Customer Success team. When our customer-facing team members need information in the blink of an eye, they turn to Spekit. Spekit not only has a instance for our organization, our teams also utilize both their browser extension and embedded links - particularly in Salesforce - for quick reminders, hints, and tooltips in order to save precious time when preparing for and on calls with customers.
Pros
Embedded links on multiple webpages but especially Salesforce
Browser extension that doesn't take up too much real estate
Creating Speks has gotten even easier with improved formatting options and AI assistance
Our Spekit CSM is exellent to work with
Cons
Could use a Confluence importer tool to make migrating pages easier
Likelihood to Recommend
Spekit is extremely well-suited for customer-facing teams who truly have a business need for "just-in-time learning." While we all benefit from the concept of just-in-time learning, organizational representatives who must perform to a high standard in front of external-facing stakeholders particularly benefit from having quick access to processes, definitions, answers, contacts, and more in a tool that is easy to navigate.
Spekit may not, however, be well suited for cash-strapped organizations that already have a content management tool like Confluence or Sharepoint and can't afford to meet their customer-facing teams in the middle. While Confluence and Sharepoint serve very important needs, they don't do a particularly good job of making content easy to find in a pinch. Spekit does.
We have so many "documents" in G Drive, Confluence, the website, and other places. It's ridiculous and truly hard for any new person to join the organization. Where should we go to find XYZ stuff? Who knows! And search really doesn't do any of this justice.
Spekit is just a good search tool across many systems. It solves a problem that shouldn't be a problem, but clearly it is. This takes rapidly growing orgs who do not structure their internal systems in a sufficient way - to search across it all! Lovely.
Pros
Search! They will look across all the different verticals to help you find all of those documents.
One place for all docs, it's really good at finding all the content and explaining what tools mean for new people.
Cons
Honestly, there are a lot of tools that do the same thing - there are lots of search tools for orgs that use too many tools to host content.
I truly despise all the little helpers when I download the extension. Its the worst, stop cluttering my chrome.
Likelihood to Recommend
Good situation: when you have way too many tools hosting content, Spekit is great at bringing everything together so I don't need to remember where things are hosted. I just need to know ish how to search.
Bad: I feel like it still doesn't help people discover content nearly as much. The nice thing about a confluence or other systems like that is that there are resources right in front of you, VS having to know what to search for. Also, I hate the extension, stop cluttering up Gmail.
We are using Spekit across our entire organization. We start using Spekit to aide the adoption and training of FinancialForce, which is our new ERP system we adopted in 2020. Spekit has been great for answering those quick questions team members have and providing in-solution guidance when people are trying to navigate the functionality of a complex system like FinancialForce.
Pros
Simple and easy to use
Ability to use it for simple things and also complex things
It's embedded directly in Salesforce and FinancialForce
Cons
I get logged out a lot and I don't know how that happens
Some of the toggles get in the way when I'm scrolling or on certain screens
Likelihood to Recommend
Spekit has been great for answering those quick questions team members have and providing in-solution guidance when people are trying to navigate the functionality of a complex system like FinancialForce. What I also like about Spekit is that it's great for very simple tasks like tracking time and providing guidance on how to do so, but also complex tasks like building a project plan.
Spekit is embedded in our internal enterprise platform and is used across the entire entire organization. Spekit helps with ongoing training and helpful reminders of system processes, nomenclature, and best practices. It aims to solve the ongoing business problem of keeping employees up to date when new system features are released over time.
Pros
In-app speks (similar to tool tips) that link to more detailed instructions when necessary
Robust topic library
Ability to share speks with colleagues
Cons
The speks sometimes get in the way or are difficult to close out
Likelihood to Recommend
If undergoing a major internal application or software overhaul, Spekit is a great way to ease the burden of change management.
My company rolled out Spekit as a tool to help train the organization on our new ERP software. Before the ERP, we had numerous platforms used in different ways depending on the teams utilizing them. Our company is made up of roughly 150 people across three offices, so individual training wasn't an option. The rollout of the ERP was also scheduled during COVID, so all training and communication was handled virtually. Luckily the Operations team managing the implementation of the new software utilized Spekit as a training guide to better educate individuals on the ins and outs of the new tool.
Pros
Centralized hub of information.
Updated design makes me feel like I'm using a tool from this century.
Easy search functionality: I can easily find the topic I'm looking for using a few keywords.
Cons
I experienced some bugs with the Chrome extension.
Likelihood to Recommend
Spekit is a great tool for mid-sized and large companies, especially when all employees can't be in the same room at all times. It's a great resource for Operations teams to communicate to their organization without the hassle of creating decks and scheduling training sessions.
We deployed Spekit for the use of our front line phone representatives. It replaced an aging and cumbersome resource hub utilized by the entire organization. Search results were often outdated, incorrect, irrelevant, and too numerous to effectively locate pertinent information quickly and efficiently. By having one information hub for the service department we are able to limit the number and volume of results by customizing and updating the information as needed.
Pros
Great Wiki page.
Can browse topics by individual Speks or in the dictionary.
Can communicate with the Spek owner to clarify and/or update information.
Notification feature is very useful. We can identify Spek updates as they are released.
Cons
Wish it was easier to insert hyperlinks.
Wish changes could be made once and duplicated to related pages.
Would be nice to rearrange Speks on a user level.
Do not seem to be able to share specific Speks.
Likelihood to Recommend
Fantastic at communicating information additions, updates, and changes across entire departments or organizations. Clarification of and changes to Speks is easy by using the reaction buttons and sending an email. Would not be useful in a situation where personal and sensitive information is required. I don't think it would be useful if several departments are on the same account. The concern there would be too much irrelevant information clogging up search results.

[Used] as a tool for the sales team as part of our tech stack to find answers in the moment for onboarding and on-going training/unification of processes. Mostly used in Sales/AE team now... perhaps more org-wide eventually. Helps solve "how-to" videos getting lost in Slack.
Pros
In the moment/in your face
Organized location
Search tool
Helps bring a team's resources all together in one place and searchable!!
Cons
The Spekit icon just gets in the way, but I dont want to hide it either!
Sometimes had to add yet another tool to the tech stack, but once learned, fairly easy to navigate.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for a growing company that needs one location/unification for training tools. Works very well for our sales team to have one location for all our resources and to share tips and tricks to new AEs.
Our company uses Spekit company wide and it has been an absolute life saver. Whenever I have a question I no longer need to email anyone I just look it up on Spekit first and we have step by step instructions to guide us.
Pros
Very organized.
Can easily find speks.
Clear instructions.
Cons
Sometimes it doesn't lock in place even when you lock it.
It can get in the way of your work, so it would be nice if when you opened it split the screen.
Likelihood to Recommend
This is well suited in a sales role as some employees may still be learning and they can look it up themselves and get clear guidance.
It's a great tool to help me learn the new software. I use it almost every day. It saves me from asking my coworkers for help on simple tasks on our various software. The company is using Spekit to help with new hires and it's a great way to avoid bothering other coworkers.
Pros
Looks great, the design of the plug-in looks very streamlined. It makes a difference if a plugin is ugly.
Integration is great. It installs into Google Chrome in seconds. It's always accessible when you need it
Usability is amazing. It automatically places itself near tabs that you might need help on.
Cons
Sometimes gets in the way. This only happens when I'm looking for stuff that I am already familiar with. Sometimes it wants to help you too much.
Hard to disable the big pop up on the right-hand side. I was able to figure it out but it's not the easiest.
Can pop up when you don't need it. This goes along with getting in the way. The plug-in wants to help all the time. There should be settings for the different lever of users.
Likelihood to Recommend
I use it all the time on Salesforce and its super helpful. The plug in helps me complete paper work that I normally would not know how to complete. It is also helpful in my down time to run through the training part of the plug in. Over all there are many times where I have used it.
