We are using the application performance management tool from last 2 years. It is really helpful for us to monitoring the application as well as infrastructure. It detects the issues related to the performance and immediately alert us to fix the things on time or on priority. It has AI/ML capabilities that resolves issue quickly and efficiently. It optimize the performance and efficiency of the application.

AppDynamics plays a vital part of our strategy to ensure high application performance, reliability and positive user experience to generate revenue as much as we can. we use app dynamics primarily for APM (application performance management). it helps in business analytics to correspond application performance data with business outcomes, allow us to understand how application performance impacts our user experience and revenue. Also we are scaling our organization to grow, we think to expand use of app dynamics to include more applications and heavy integration with our monitoring tools.

it supports mobile application performance monitoring and enables team to track app load times, crashes and user sessions on mobile devices
it offers robust support options including detailed documentation and professional services. it provides user experiences to highlight the responsiveness of the support team in resolving issues and enhance overall user satisfaction

we can improve its user interface; due to this, some user find it overwhelming for its complexity
Sometimes its real time data processing can lag during peak usage times.
Users sometimes need more comprehensive training, such as webinars and certification programs, etc.

In our scenario we can utilize AppDynamics to ensure that applications comply with performance standards and regulatory requirements. it helps us in audit and compliance check. we can also track performance across multiple services and identify latency issues ensure that the application runs smoothly and meets regulatory compliance. I personally rarely find it less appropriate but the only place I want it improving is when during the high traffic events during load testing to understand how the application performs under stress and identify potential failure points before the events.

AppDynamics flow maps are fantastic. I enjoy AppDynamics board because it displays data from the applications performance matrix,which helps me realize whether there is a technical problem. AppDynamics assists us in prioritizing the answer to the problem. AppDynamics continuously posts the server and database status by sending alerts, and prepared the reports or us. It automatically discovers .net, php, python, and node.js applications it automatically detects customer requests like checking account balances and it traces the transactions.

Pros

Very convenient with setting alerts on any abnormality with our servers.
The user can set on which resources to send alerts.
Its providing the all the metrics to monitor. Easily we can install it in client software.

Cons

Business transaction tracking is little bit slow
Need to add more troubleshooting options.
