Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Symantec Messaging Gateway as our threat protection and anti-spam solution for our email. Symantec Messaging Gateway is being used across the entire organization, approximately 200 people in 7 locations. It does a very good job of reducing and eliminating the threats that our users are subjected to in email.

Cons

  • The web interface can be difficult at times.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is very well suited for an organization that wants to protect inbound email and use just one product. It may be less appropriate for an organization that is small or has a limited IT support staff.
