Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Tessian Cloud Email Security Platform is an outlook solution that looks and learns users behaviors. It will alert a user to a suspicious inbound email and point specifically to the items that are questionable, not only protecting the user, but providing real-time training to them in their own Inbox. It also monitors outbound communications and will alert if a user mis-directs an email and recommend suggestions

Cons

I would like to see more customization on the alerting, colors, fonts, etc
cost, Tessian is quite expensive

Tessian Cloud Email Security is well suited for anyone that can afford it. Email is the gateway for the bad guys and having as much security and protection as possible is critical

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Tessian was put in place to better assist users with avoiding account compromises and reduce our security exposure through email. Tessian was used across the organization for every user.

Pros

Clear alerts within emails to provide context to emails.
Fairly easy to deploy across the organization.

Cons

The Outlook Add-In broke several systems during use.
There are many changes to the account reps and engineers assigned to us. As a result, we lost touch with Tessian.
Lack of knowledge and help from Support during times when the Add-In was disrupting users.

Likelihood to Recommend

While we saw some benefit from Tessian early on, it quickly became apparent that it was unnecessary. This was exacerbated by issues the program caused our Outlook clients, who felt we did not get the attention and assistance required to continue using Tessian in our environment.

Easy but solid catch-all solution for g-suite email security

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Solid plug-and-play solution for email security, is specifically nice with g-suite since the built-in email security tools are pretty limited. Very intuitive and simple interface, and feels like it could be used by someone who's not hard technical without much issue. Has some pretty simplistic DLP functionality built-in which is a nice bonus as it gives you some basic tools to work with.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you want a fast but solid solution for g-suite email security this would be a good go-to. Doesn't require a whole lot of maintenance so you don't need to dedicate a lot of a sysadmin's time to it. Has a very fast and easy workflow to it. Pretty nice.
