Therap

Therap is a suite of person-centered health management applications, providing a solution for electronic health records (EHR), combined with optional billing, medical scheduling, claims management, and modules related to mental health and developmental disabilities, and long-term providing of care. Therap supports configurable workflows to capture required information for compliance, in addition to goal and outcome tracking at the individual and provider level. Its suite of online tools support individuals, families, and a practitioner’s team efforts in helping people reach their goals.

Therap’s suite also supports business management, enabling users to manage budgets and funding within applications on the platform. Users can configure workflows to allow for submission, review, and approval of services, and analyze usage patterns from year to year. Therap enables users to track intake and eligibility status, and complete checklists and assessments from within the platform.its billing rules are configurable and enable users to manage eligibility checks, and submit electronic claims to MMIS or other payers.

Beyond supporting health records, Therap can be configured to suit a particular practice, helping practitioners manage a variety of case types (e.g. criminal cases), with a dedicated module supporting specific needs like employment tracking, recidivism and recovery or rehabilitation, and incident reporting.

Therap Services is headquartered in Waterbury and has been operating since 2003. Various specific long-term health services for which Therap provides supports include Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with transitional living and Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy; Children and Family services with outpatient supports, counseling and case management, reunification goals, foster care and residential documentation; Criminal Justice with parole monitoring and transition assistance; Behavioral Health with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) & Behavioral Support Tracking; Mental Health Services; and Substance Abuse programs with Milestone Tracking & Life Planning Tools.
