Thrive Leads provides an elegant lead capture solution that is seamlessly integrated with the Thrive Themes suite of products. Our website is built using Thrive Themes, so Thrive Leads was a natural choice, though not the only solution we considered. Thrive Leads solves the problem of intelligent lead capture that is beautiful, easy to design (drag and drop hallelujah), and easy to TEST! A/B testing is a built in feature for Thrive Leads. We also love how many different lead capture options Thrive Leads presents.

Likelihood to Recommend

Thrive Leads is really well suited for solopreneur service providers, ecommerce brands, and small to medium businesses. I wouldn't recommend Thrive Leads as an enterprise level solution, but I don't think they're trying to be that, either. Thrive Leads will help you if you don't have a whole marketing department (or if you are the one guiding a marketing VA) to do a better job of capturing leads and building your email list, which is the life blood of small online busines.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We chose Thrive Leads to power an email opt in campaign for a WordPress website supporting a national radio program and blog. We needed a highly customizable opt in solution to have multiple offers, rich analytics, and filters for where various offers are displayed. It helped us quickly grow our email list by converting traffic to our blog into email subscribers.

Pros

Customizable opt in options (banners, fly ins, pop ups, etc.)
Rich analytics for tracking conversion rates, etc.
Detailed filters for where to display each campaign

Cons

Experienced a few bugs and slowdowns on high traffic sites
Could use more flexibility for tagging leads in our email provider
Occasionally stopped working in the back end — needed customer support to help

Likelihood to Recommend

Thrive Leads is a solid solution for flexible opt in campaigns on a WordPress site. If you just need a simple email opt in, this will work but may be too feature rich for you. If you need something customizable and flexible enough for larger, more complex campaigns, this is the best plugin that I have found based on all of my research.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Thrive Leads to capture all email addresses for a number of lists on the website. The software lets us create individualised forms in a variety of formats (slide in, pop up etc), which creates a better user experience all round. The ability to have a specific form appear on a specific page and not appear on others is also highly useful.

Pros

Easy to create forms
Can use multiple forms on a site and not just one
Forms can display depending on page and content
Easy to update forms across the site
Great analytics and easy to see what's working

Cons

The form creator is WYSIWYG, but not 100%
If computer is slow, forms are slow to load
Form loading can sometimes affect Google page speed insights

Likelihood to Recommend

I have yet to find a similar system that is as easy to use and comes with the type of support that Thrive Leads does. Sometimes support is a bit slow, but they always get back to you and nine times out of ten they can fix any problems on the first go. The flexibility of the form plugin itself is also excellent.

It is being used organization-wide to capture leads for all of our e-learning programs. Thrive Leads is used to collate and manage all the leads that we capture. The leads we capture through our landing pages. It has allowed us to connect with our autoresponder and emailer in an easy and functional way.

Integrate with Activecampaign in a straightforward way

Cons

Sometimes it is a little complex.
Some of the terms used are not very clear.
Sometimes editing the lead generation forms is a little difficult.

Likelihood to Recommend

We use Thrive Leads in our landing pages for webinars and online classes, and it has worked very well in all situations. All of our pages are created with Thrive Architect and obviously Thrive Leads integrates seamlessly with it.

I think that it would not be very appropriate for someone that has little experience in working with WordPress and especially in a lead-capturing setting.
