What is Tyk?

Tyk is an open source API management platform that features an API gateway, analytics, developer portal and dashboard. It is available to install on-premises, as a cloud service, or hybrid.

Companies can set rate limiting, request throttling, and auto-renewing request quotas to manage how their users access their API. Tyk supports access tokens, HMAC request signing, basic authentication and OAuth 2.0 to integrate old and new services.
