What is Veesion?

Veesion uses artificial intelligence to help retailers detect and reduce shoplifting. The company has developed a technology based on the recent progress of deep learning applied to video that can be used for different use cases (shoplifting detection, violent contact detection on social networks and posture detection ) for safety purposes. Veesion relies on a technological solution that detects suspicious behavior that could potentially harm property or people.

Veesion technology is based solely on algorithmic gesture processing . The company does not use facial recognition, customer tracking, or identity registration. The technology therefore does not allow the recognition of physical or physiological characteristics, deduction of emotions or intentions of people. Veesion protects the identity of all of our clients' consumers. The Veesion technology does not rely at any time on identification processes. It does not retain any collective or personal data allowing the detection and identification of an individual, whether it involves recognition of faces, emotions, procedures or clothing. Veesion technology has the same purpose as existing video surveillance systems
