Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Daily operations such as data maintenance/clean-up, download, reports, direct bill invoicing. The product addresses inconsistencies in data (via reporting tool) which can then be fixed. Reports are run monthly or more frequently to ensure information is accurate when upper management view production analysis.

Pros

  • searching for customers is easy
  • workflow is adjustable based upon agency's needs
  • several reporting options

Cons

  • notes function does not automatically show user entering note
  • need ability to search activities (I think this is coming soon)
  • too many premium fields in policy data

Likelihood to Recommend

It is user friendly. Vertafore needs to offer more free new user training - the videos are helpful but not as good as a real person.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Vertafore for one department of the organization, and this department brings in roughly 50% of the total yearly revenue for the company. Vertafore's products assist the business unit in managing client data and allowing our agents to better serve the customer. On my end of things, in IT, Vertafore has support teams available for each product to assist in day-to-day function as well as upgrades and future planning.

Pros

  • Documentation of products/features
  • Support response time

Cons

  • Price (although thats not a concern for my role)
  • Website "knowledge base" is difficult to navigate

Likelihood to Recommend

I am in IT, and on my end their support is pretty good. Tickets are answered within a few hours on average, sometimes quicker. Anytime we have major upgrades they are on standby to assist if need be. Their teams are also available with larger projects from planning to implementing.
