Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We basically use it for all of our meetings now. We got away with Zoom, so we use it for meetings in our company together outside of our company, in our own department. So pretty much for anything that we need to do a meeting with, that's how we use it at this moment.

Pros

I feel like the ability to connect from your phone or from your computer in the car, wherever you need to be. It's very easy to be able to be in a meeting even if you're not at your workspace.

Cons

Honestly, in the time I've used it, I can't really think of anything that I haven't liked about it compared to some of the other products we use. It is way better than I have used. So I can't really think of anything at this moment that I would say.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think any organization with a lot of employees where you need to outsource or talk to different businesses or even use yourself, talk to people in your own company or outside your company. It's very well suited. We've even had discussions with people in other countries, so it's very well suited for that. Thinking about how we used it, I can't think of a way it's not suited. I haven't had the experience to know when we might use it that it might not be okay to use. I don't have experience in that.

We are using Webex Meetings from last few years for virtual meetings, Video conferencing, Town halls meetings. we use these tools including screen sharing, virtual backgrounds, breakout rooms, real-time captions, and AI-driven features like noise cancellation and meeting transcriptions. We use this for internal training its helps us in internally training session.

We organized our quarterly town halls, strategy sessions between departments, and training events on Webex Meetings. It meets the demand for a reliable system that supports plenty of participants without lowering quality. Getting assistance from them for large event planning has been very useful.

Pros

Hosting hundreds of people with good audio and video quality is one of Webex Meetings’ best features.
Real-time polling and Q&A are useful features that boost participation during big meetings.
It is easier to manage sessions because you can assign co-hosts.
The recording transcription feature means you do not need to take notes manually.
The integration of Webex Meetings with Outlook and Google Calendar means scheduling is very easy.

Cons

Arranging large meetings with many breakout sessions often needs a lot of time.
Reports generated after meetings could be more detailed for better analysis.
Battery usage is high when using the mobile app for long periods.
Switching the application you are sharing can sometimes make the screen sharing slow.

Webex Meetings is the main place for daily stand-ups, client presentations, and brainstorming. It makes it easier to communicate clearly and safely with team members in different parts of the world. With its scheduling and screen-sharing, we synchronize campaigns and review creative work so that everyone is on the same page.

Pros

Real-time translation is our best feature, making translating audio into different languages easier for our international clients.
The breakout rooms help different sub-teams work together during large meetings.
In addition, AI noise suppression helps keep audio clear, making meetings easier when people are in noisy settings.

Cons

The interface can be cluttered for people using the tool for the first time, and important options like chat and participant lists can be hard to spot.
Because the integration with Trello or Asana is restricted, it becomes harder for us to manage our workflow.
The mobile app does not have all of the functions of the desktop, which is a problem for team members using tablets or smartphones.

Likelihood to Recommend

When security and reliability are priorities, Webex Meetings perform well during planned and agenda-driven meetings. Nevertheless, they may be confusing during quick brainstorming or when working with external partners who don’t know the platform.

We are using this tool to conduct meetings and giving presentation to our clients for selling purpose. Experience is extremely pleasant as setup and usage is very easy. Virtual board , noise cancellation , good quality audio/video are some premium features which helps us alot in giving presentations smoothely.

Pros

Noise cancellation is one of the most helpful feature when doing work from home.
Breakout rooms are available for easy management of multiple meetings from one link only.
Video quality performance is extremely good.

Cons

Webex Meetings and the app consume a lot of ram and sometime cause system slowness in mid of work only.
In starting of use, the design is a little complex due to number of features.
The mobile app needs to be optimized and little bit laggy also.

I use Webex Meetings to have confidential consultations with clients. The security aspects of the platform guarantee confidentiality of sensitive financial facts when we discuss them. It also enables sharing of documents and real time collaboration in financial plans.

Pros

The end to end encryption offers peace of mind in my clients as well as to myself.
The facility to share screens and annotate documents instantaneously makes our discussions more explicit.
In addition the scheduling attribute works perfectly with my calendar making the management of appointments simple.

Cons

The limited ability to make invitations for meetings custom is one of the limitations, it may be more customizable to reflect the branding.
Also the absence of integration to some financial software assumes additional actions during all the meetings for data sharing.

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex suits formal client meetings for which security and professionalism are most important. However, for a quick check in or when a client is not so tech savvy a simpler platform may be more desirable.

I conduct virtual lectures using Webex Meetings, hold office hours, and retain peers for discussions using the same platform. The platform facilitates our transition to hybrid learning will be able to attend sessions despite remaining in his or her respective locations.

Pros

The use of a whiteboard is especially useful to explain advanced concepts. The capability to record the sessions allows students the flexibility to review materials in his/her own time.
Additionally, connectivity of the platform to our learning management system facilitates scheduling as well as tracking of itches.

Cons

A limitation is the platform performance on the old devices.
Creating breakout rooms can be complicated, which requires several steps that are unnecessary.

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex fits well for structurally oriented class times and formal presentations. However for spontaneous collaboration or less formal study groups, platforms with a more streamlined interface may be more appropriate.
