What is WorkOS?

WorkOS, headquartered in San Francisco, provides APIs to make an app enterprise-ready, with pre-built features and integrations required by IT admins such as single sign-on (SSO), directory sync, and audit logs. WorkOS is a set of building blocks for quickly adding enterprise features to apps. Supports all SAML and OIDC providers, employs additional authentication factors such as TOTP and SMS, use of umlimited passwordless authentication through email and the ability to sign in with third-party providers like Google and Microsoft.

The Admin portal is a hosted interface for IT admins to directly set up WorkOS. Offers SSO for any identity provider that uses SAML or Open ID Connect protocols, all in a standard OAuth2 connection wrapper.
