The BlueJeans Meetings platform supported video, audio and web conferencing with the collaboration tools, as a cloud service that connects desktops, mobile devices and room systems in one video meeting. It was acquired in 2020 by Verizon and discontinued in the sunsetting of the BlueJeans product line by Verizon, in 2023.

Compared to other alternatives, Bluejeans Meetings is the best and most secure video conferencing and screen sharing application. We have been using it for years now and it has never disappointed us even a single day.
Bluejeans meetings is the best and most secure video conferencing platform i have ever encountered. It does not demand any training to use since it has a very friendly and intuitive user interface that makes it super easy to learn and understand. Great customer support team, …
First of all as the product origine was china , so it was little challenging for us to trust the app and after that due to reports of data breaches found is some organisation, we find it difficult to trust more so we started switching to Bluejeans due to its fantastic features …
Bluejeans meetings has a very friendly and intuitive user interface that makes it super easy to use. Since we started using it, we have never experienced any challenges and i highly recommend it.
As i travel alot i faced major connectivity issue with the Zoom and that's why i switch to the Bluejeans. When i joined the Bluejeans i was not sure if it will have connectivity issue or not, but now i can say that Bluejeans has very less connectivity issue in comparison to the …
In one area where i can really see the difference between the BlueJeans Meetings and Zoom is their connectivity even over the slow internet connection.
BlueJeans Meetings is just as good as the other products I have used in the past, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I don't think users of those products would be disappointed with BlueJeans Meetings as the experience is very comparable. BlueJeans Meetings doesn't have any …
Bluejeans is low-weight, no-flab application with easy and quick deployment. Zoom and Webex, although much better in UI are not cost competitive and do not work well on low end computers which forma significant portion of our deployment platforms. Bluejeans meets all the …
I've utilized and upheld many gathering items in my vocation (Zoom, GoToMeeting, WebEx) and BlueJeans Meetings certainly has the least hindrance to getting a quick meeting started and is one of the easiest platforms to support.
Select Blujeans Meetings because it allows me to better convey my ideas and at the same time build trust through real-time videoconferences. As well as sharing documents and presentations via screen sharing, I love the option to record play and then share the recording to …
BlueJeans stacks up comparably to other services. It does lack in some areas compared to others, particularly Zoom, which is more widely used, but BlueJeans had been used for quite some time by the University and offered the feature set and accessibility that we were looking …
Superior to Zoom and MS Teams in terms of audio and video quality. Can improve when it comes to product awareness (since both Zoom and MS Teams are far ahead in terms of adoption).
Not only 3, there are many other I tried but as I disclosed earlier, i faced problems in terms of audio and video quality. I always concern about these 2 criteria because I will be regularly in contact with clients. The reason I selected BlueJeans especially for this criteria …
Microsoft Teams is a complementary tool I used in my software panel. So it can cover many cases where partners are not using the same tools as the ones used in my firm. It is a complementary tool with other ones like Miro, Slack, and Jira, for example, in order to facilitate …
I suppose on some level I selected Microsoft Teams because my company has it installed on the computers automatically, but having used other programs I find the Microsoft Teams interface to be very user-friendly and you aren't forced into harder to use features unless you …
With Microsoft Teams you can better check each one's agenda. The background when in a meeting is better. Microsoft Teams also have more options for integrations in place. It's also easier and more intuitive. It also offers more options of communicating and not only video …
I had the priviledge to work with Microsoft Teams Rooms both in bring your own device mode and also connecting a device via Azure monitor. This helped a lot when we needed to do local meetings with a lot of people with external partners. This helped a lot since we were able to …
We are in the Microsoft Eco-system, so Teams integrates well with our other tools. We also integrated our company website and IT website to contact me or our IT team. Without a second doubt, Teams is the application we choose among others and we will continue to use Teams as our …
I prefer using Slack for text and quick video/audio calls. It is easy and has features like GIFs and other integrations built in. It's a nice one button way to communicate. We use Zoom for our more structured meetings and I use Zoom for my training sessions because I can plug …
We chose primarily because of the promised integration with the Microsoft Business Suite - which it mostly delivers on. That does give Teams an obvious advantage over competitors. IMHO Teams has a richer, more mature feature set, and the experience is more reliable and stable. …
The Office 365 suit contains everything needed for daily use such as document editing, spreadsheet, email client. The onedrive is a great addition to that. Microsoft Teams allows the editing and access to files saved in onedrive if ther are shared to you. Therefore, Microsoft …
Teams is the best of the company message tools that I have used so far because it integrates so many functionalities. Teams goes way beyond the instant messaging or video calls features with screen-sharing. It integrated with your calendar, enables you to do task tracking (e.g. …
While we mostly use Monday.com for our CRM needs, we still use Teams for our communication needs all day every day. We couldn't function as a team without Teams! The chat and meeting setup/scheduling function is so useful and easy to use. We have found that having meetings is …
Microsoft Teams is a centralized application and integrates to all O365 application suite, this allows any company to have everything at reach, applications, data stored, sharepoint and so on. You can set up meetings and record them which is an advantage because you dont need …
The most noticeable thing that Microsoft Teams offers and Zoom lacks is providing the history of meeting chats. If you join a Zoom meeting late, you don't get any of the chat info (e.g. shared messages, files, contact info, weblinks) that were sent prior to you joining. With …
For our particular use case, which is collaboration across teams sitting in different geographies in a fast-paced sales organization, Microsoft Teams is just the perfect platform to bring everyone together. Teams helps you keep the dialogue strictly professional which is good …
User experience is of a higher level and integrates well into Outlook. Using the tool to facilitate user testing with participants outside the company is a breeze too.
Microsoft Team is one of Microsoft's newest applications. Looking at the evolution of the Office suite, I can only imagine what Team will become with the next updates. It's a product that fills a need and has a lot of possibilities to evolve well. I would put it right in the …
Collaboration with team members, clients and partners who spread out across the globe is made simple by Bluejeans meeting. As an Application developer it is easier for me to collaborate with people from various cultures and time zones so this is very important.
For code review , it plays an excellent role, it enables real time screen sharing and code discussion among my team, this facilitate quicker and more effective bug detection and correction.
Pair programming is a great use for it. It make possible for two programmers to collaborate on same code even when they are not physically near to each other.
Microsoft Teams is ideal for organizations where employees regularly collaborate by sharing files, working on the same documents, updating the progress, etc. This is because different file formats are supported for online editing and collaboration with the help of Microsoft Teams. Additionally, for every file which is shared among the team members, emails are not sent again and again which helps in easily managing and organizing files. It is less appropriate where the team members have to instantly reply to an urgent task as sometimes the notifications are not sent properly which may lead to a delay in the work.
Video calls are great with Microsoft Teams. They've made big improvements over the last year and I rarely have issue with getting on. It's nice when things just work.
The most used functionality is, of course, the chat feature. It does what it's supposed to do and you can create chat groups from whoever you'd like. We use it a lot when there is a special project and a team from various groups get together for a short period of time to get things done.
An overlooked function is the ability to search anything within Microsoft Teams. Any photo, document, or chat can be searched and found pretty easily. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me from having to rewrite something or start over.
Been using it for a long time, so familiarity with the platform helps. I have already pointed out a few things that I like about BlueJeans which I do not find in other competing platforms. HOWEVER, I do use some other platforms on occasion when I need features BlueJeans does not offer. I will not give up BlueJeans for another platform just yet. That being said, BlueJeans needs to get back to innovating, as it once did, rather than increasingly lag behind in features that are becoming more and more important in today's (and tomorrow's post-pandemic) world.
Microsoft Teams is included with our Office 365 subscription and we have no intention of migrating off of Office 365 and Microsoft products. Since Microsoft Teams is included for free with our Office 365 subscription, and since we enjoy all the features, benefits, and functionality, there is no question that our team will continue to use the product
I don't have much experience of joining a meeting from an attendee of someone else's. As for joining a meeting I've created, it's very easy. For recurring meetings, I find the meeting in my list, and if it's near the time to start, there will be a "Join" button, and I just push that. After that, it gives me the options for joining -- video, audio, phone, screen share only. It remembers my previous choices, so mostly I just can click by that. As for attendees joining, there do seem to be connection problems from time to time and people have to log off and come back on, but we had that trouble with GoToMeeting also. Being able to mute attendees is much better in BlueJeans. When we had GoToMeeting, I constantly had problems with people joining by phone incorrectly, such that they didn't even show up in the meeting list and thus I couldn't mute them when needed.
The overall functionality of the product is incredible in that it provides a one-stop solution for organization and communication. The product is also very well integrated into Microsoft Outlook and other Office apps. Visually pleasing and very easy to use interface. New features are constantly being added to enhance the user experience.
This has been a continual issue with our organization. We are a IP/H323 infrastructure so we integrate BlueJeans via the IP/H323 connections to the cloud. We still have inconsistent results with calls. Some work without issue and some calls are horribly choppy and at times freeze. If I have one complaint or reason to seek out a different competitor its this
There has been some downside in terms of response but cant really fault heavily because it is expected when a large volume of users need help but there can only be so many people to assist. On the other hand the support team is very helpful in that they are willing and able to jump in your admin control panels and help host a meeting with you to troubleshoot issues or just make things go smoothly
I think Microsoft Team is overall good application for communication, track Project work inter the teams and also intra teams. I have 7 out of 10 because it needs improvements in certain features like video sharing call, call drop, audio quality and connecting problems even after having good internet connection.
Well, I hear from many of my clients and other contacts that they find Microsoft Teams/Zoom much easier to use, and that they do not like BlueJeans. I disagree. First, I do not like seeing blank windows of participants who have turned off their video (and many do, given they do not wish to be seen at home, or in casual attire); however, I do use Teams or Zoom or Webex at times. I did not find it difficult to implement BlueJeans in my organization, and those who have used Teams, Webex, or Zoom say the same about these platforms.
First of all as the product origine was china , so it was little challenging for us to trust the app and after that due to reports of data breaches found is some organisation, we find it difficult to trust more so we started switching to Bluejeans due to its fantastic features special it's audio and video conferencing features enabled with Dolby technology.
We chose primarily because of the promised integration with the Microsoft Business Suite - which it mostly delivers on. That does give Teams an obvious advantage over competitors. IMHO Teams has a richer, more mature feature set, and the experience is more reliable and stable. Although like any of there there is room for imporvement.
I believe BlueJeans is easy to scale, but we have a different business model that requires a more central scheduling need. Most vendors operate on an enterprise wide environment with a one to one licensing. We have a centralized group of video administrators and schedulers that do the majority of the scheduling for multiple departments. Because we are a centralized scheduling group we need shared access to on schedule not multiple users delegating access to one another. I.E. if I have 5 schedulers, under the current licensing they would each have individual accounts and delegating those accounts to one another. So when receiving a support call they have to search 5 individual schedules to make changes to meetings. This I think is a valid need even for smaller businesses that just have a few schedulers for the rest of the groups. It would be easier if it scaled within the individual accounts
Blujeans Meetings is an online communication service that works perfectly offering excellent features and functions that adapt to our needs and is more than what we normally need, it is simple to use, easy to organize and join meetings in addition to its security and speed. I like it because it offers an excellent wireless connection regardless of our internet connection quality, it works from anywhere and any device allowing you to collaborate on the go, it is very easy to share screen and start a conversation using this tool.
User experience has been much better than the previous Skype for Business app. It has an easy-to-use interface with persistent chats. The search feature is very fast and useful.
MS Teams has mostly focused on Collaboration and team building features which are very useful for organisational communications. This in turn has a positive impact on the overall business outcome.
Scheduling meetings have never been so easy in the past. We can schedule meetings on the go without any hassles
Since Teams is accessible from multiple platforms like Laptop, Desktop, Mobile phones, etc it has been very convenient from a Mobility perspective.
