We stayed with Chorus by ZoomInfo because of the superior way it recaps our calls. Depending on the length of the call and what is being discussed, Chorus by ZoomInfo will usually provide 10 key points in clear detail. When we used Gong, we were finding it was only providing …
We have evaluated Gong, but have yet to use it. Mainly, we are in a three year contract with ZoomInfo, and aren't able to remove one part of the contract in favor of another. Gong seems like a decent product, but I am unable to determine if it is better, worse, or the same as …
We prefer Gong compared to Chorus because it offers a more robust set of features, better integrations, more automated workflows, and world-class customer support.
I know our director has evaluated Chorus.ai and Gong before opting to work with Chorus.ai, but I am not sure what was it that made him decide to go with Chorus.ai and not with Gong.
Gong.io is simply a better product, with more features, insights, and helpful tips around coaching. To be blunt, if it were my decision, we'd jump ship immediately in favor of Gong.io.
I think Gong.io has a slight edge with their UI and more advanced AI capabilities. However, Chorus.ai does get the job done and stacks up well against Gong.io.
We evaluated both Chorus.ai and Gong.io in depth, but opted to use Chorus.ai since it seemed to have some more advanced features, such as custom keyword tracking. I preferred Gong.io's UI, as it was more streamlined and simplified at the time, but honestly either tool would be …
They all are amazing solutions that meet all of our core requirements. We selected Chorus.ai as the price was a bit more competitive to the other solutions in the tech stack for having the ability to meet all of our core requirements.
The products are very similar, each will have stories about how their tech is better or more optimized to help salespeople hit their quota. At the end of the day, it was clear that Chorus.ai not only did everything that Gong did, but it was also a significantly better value …
It's a good tool for what our org uses it for. As mentioned, this is utilized as a repository to go back and review calls for notes more than it is for coaching. Because of the use case, actual deal intelligence (vs. visibility) isn't a major factor. Compared to other tools, …
Having used similar tools in the past, I found Chorus.ai to be most effective due to its accuracy. It's pretty accurate when it comes to transcripts, speaker ratio and search functionality. Overall it's a pretty solid tool for call reviews.
It was a neck-and-neck finish for both vendors in our selection process. We easily could have gone either way on the decision, both vendors did very well in the sales engagement. Chorus.ai did a slightly better job at executive bridging and connecting to others in our …
We like Chorus.ai's sales support. The sales coaching and enablement features. We have outreach so it's good to see int between Chorus.ai and Outreach. It pulls call data from outreach and gives sales call analysis.
I personally did not select Chorus, but it does a great job! I used to use Gong at my previous company, and I liked that too. I have found that Chorus' transcript tool does a better job of translating the script of the call.
The only similar software I've used is Chorus by ZoomInfo. I don't find Zoominfo to be particularly helpful other than for up to date contact info, so having these functions tied to gether is not so important to me, and the actual functionality of Chorus is nowhere near as …
Gong seems to provide more clarity than SalesforceEinstein, or Chorus by ZoomInfo. All of these systems have specific features that are important and valuable and each work in different ways to provide clarity into the sales process. I find that using these in parallel seems …
Gong has higher accuracy in terms of call transcript and better brand reliability and sentiment, compared to Chorus by ZoomInfo and Kaia by Outreach. In addition, it is easier to use and share with team compared to other competitors. We also didnt want to have vendor lock-in …
It's sexier. The UI/UX is better than anything we've evaluated. We just love it....and they don't nickel and dime you. The staff at Gong is exemplary! When working with Zoominfo and Chorus.ai - they disappeared. You can tell people at Gong, like their jobs!
We evaluated Chorus.ai and Pickle against Gong and Gong was the favorite for our use case. It was a market leader with some presence in region and clearly focused on the key trend analysis and coaching that we required.
Gong is way more robust than other tools I've used at other companies, and the UI is infinitely easier. I didn't have a hand in bringing Gong to my current company so unsure if there was a previous tool it replaced.
I've used Chorus at a past company. It seems to do the transcriptions similarly accurately to Gong. Good enough call recording. The call feedback can be done too although maybe not as easily. I do not believe Chorus can create call playlists. I do feel there are a lot less …
The chorus is good, but Gong is a little better in every aspect. But not much. Outreach's AI is pretty good and helps with live training and feedback. I think many of the solutions are comparable; at that point, it's about what's in your current tech stack and how to avoid …
Chorus was hard to us, tricky to request feedback, lack of tools to analyze calls and collaborate. One of the worst aspects of Chorus was how hard it was to find the call you were looking for.
Gong crushes the auto zoom recordings. They are nice, but we don't have access to any analysis. So that makes it much different to get any value. At that point it is just a note taker. Gong really does help you get more done! Our support team uses chorus as well as a co …
Gong is the most sophisticated conversational intelligence tool I have used. The speaker separation is very good and the action items always catch the key points from the call. When the notetaker joins the call, it's reliable and does not interrupt the call at all. Recordings …
As someone who is involved in many calls with CIOs or administrators discussing ERP or EMR integrations, compliance workflows, or digital transformation initiatives, these conversations involve complex technical discussions, multiple stakeholders, and long sales cycles where capturing detailed requirements and follow-up commitments is crucial. Having sales intelligence benefits the complexity of the buying process.
Gong is an excellent tool for tracking customer interactions with your team whether it be through e-mail or phone calls. It also provides an excellent format for scoring the calls your individual contributors are making. Researching interactions through artificial intelligence provides a ton of hours of time saved for our team. It is not a replacement for your CRM or source of truth
If you forgot to add Gong to your meeting, the Gong bot will take a while (a minute or so) to be added. This might lead to you losing some time for the meeting recording.
A quicker way to get the 'Share with customer' URL. I often have to go through a few clicks before getting it.
It's hard for me to give anything more than a 5 at this point. The primary reason is that we have only used it for a few months and I'm still getting a feel for the level of value it provides both to me and the team. In 4 or 5 months I'll have a better understanding of its value long term
Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. The deal boards also provide great visibility into opps for management and leadership
This was sold internally as something that would help us be more efficient. I had high hopes that the speech-to-text feature would be useful for getting call notes/next steps, etc documented. But due to the limitations of the software, these things would take longer using Chorus than if I just write things down manually - disappointing.
I gave it a 9 here because Gong is well-suited for being a one-stop-shop for call listening as a while. The reason I didn't rate it a 10 is the UI can sometimes be a bit tough to navigate and figure out where to do certain actions.
I personally have not had too many major issues with Chorus, but the times that I have reached out to their customer support team I have always received great responses in a very timely manner. Their support team is trained in a very polite way and cares about resolving your issue. They are knowledgeable and helpful and the customer service line does not take long to connect to a real individual.
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
Like I noted in the other category, it has been smooth for the most part. But we really do enjoy the hard work of our CSM and everything he has been able to provide us in terms of support.
We looked at Gong but went with Chorus by ZoomInfo because it felt more practical for our team. Gong has great analytics, but Chorus by ZoomInfo fit better into our existing tech stack and budget. The deal notifications, scorecards, and integrations with Zoom and Salesforce made it the smarter pick. Overall, Chorus by ZoomInfo gives us the insights we need without feeling like overkill or another heavy lift.
Gong has by far the most comprehensive information about each call, and integrates the best with our CRM: Salesforce. Not only that, but the call recording itself is the least intrusive, and it is automatically added to every external call that our team creates.
I've improved my ability to find solutions for my clients. I'm now more effective in meetings because I can pay closer attention while the entire conversation is automatically recorded and transformed into text.
I can process a large number of emails without feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of information I receive daily. With the summaries created with Gong, I can now make faster and more effective decisions without hesitation.
It doesn't take much effort to learn how to use this platform; this saves me a lot of time when training new members of my team to use this indispensable tool in the workplace.
