Being able to remit payroll directly to CRA reduces the number of steps in payroll processing. It also means that there is no way for us to forget a remittance. This is important to us because it's all-in-one software. I did like that QB would have the entry directly there so …
Even though Quickbooks was cheaper, I would have to do more work, much more information added into the system and while I would pay less per pay run, there was a lot more work for me to do. I prefer to pay a little extra and spend my time making money instead of the headache of …
Wagepoint has made errors in the past. ADP has terrible customer service. QuickBooks Online is convenient however the Dayforce Powerpay pricing is better for larger payrolls. Payworks has no "run as is" option.
I selected Powerpay (Ceridian at it was then) for the ease of use. I like that I have the choice of phoning my payroll in or doing it online myself. I used Ceridian a long time ago when I worked part time for a law firm. The Powerpay system is easy to use, it is logical and you …
Having used both Ceridian Powerpay and DayforceHCM, I find that Ceridian Powerpay is the better solution for the average user. DayforceHCM provides a more fully-featured solution for an organization, but utilizing those features will depend on your organizational needs. …
Our prior experience was Evolution payroll but it didn't meet up our expectations and the kind of excellence we wanted from it. But I would say that evolution Payroll is another option for those who don’t want to avail multiple tasking and automated employment facilities like …
Firstly, create a template for the data of human resources to be filled by the client with help from us, then We transformed the paperwork, excel, word sheets, did data cleansing and refined the data, and matched data with the correct fields inside the template and imported …
Before Oracle Cloud HCM we had never used any HR and workforce
management tool. And having no such tool caused us a loss, as we were a
complete failure in managing the HR department and HR is not something you can
Oracle Cloud HCM is a much more mature product and supports better both the centralization of the processes and capturing the local variants. Especially the local piece was the biggest problem of other platforms. Oracle Cloud HCM also constantly improves its application, …
Zoho is only suited for organizations [that] have [fewer] employees. Also, the role management part is very weak in Zoho. Time and Labor functionality is very naive and does not cater to the needs of the organizations which have dynamic employee movement in projects and …
Oracle is providing better services than Rippling. It has gelled up the whole organization by making the entire department operate at a very optimal level. Initially, when we started using Oracle Cloud HCM, it was just on a regional level. Gradually it was rolled out all across …
The flexibility and diversity of Oracle Cloud HCM is vastly better. It allows us to more easily manage our data, which has always been challenging in Colleague.
Oracle Cloud HCM is a perfect product that I recommend to any company that is trying
to implement a solution for better management of HR and human capital
management. This was the first implementation for me on the cloud. I learned
I am a user and not the decision maker in my organization on the purchase of Oracle Cloud HCM. As a user, the Workfront interface seemed less intuitive than that of Oracle Cloud HCM. That might be related to my familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM, however it was difficult to find …
Oracle also has a travel and expense functionality. Both are very similar so I would say it's more a matter of which one has a legacy with the company.
I believe it's a superior produce because Oracle has designed it from the ground up with best practices in mind. They removed the ability to customize the product and taken away the need to do tools and application upgrades. They have also mimimized the need for heavy DBA …
I did find Workday HCM to be a little more complicated than Oracle. I like the way I can navigate my way through Oracle HCM. Once used to it, it is difficult to shift to another similar kind of functional tool.
We looked at systems for performance, but I cannot think of the names of the systems. And I’m sure our organization considered other systems at a higher level, but Oracle was the best platform to accommodate the majority of our operations and make it easier for IT to maintain …
Oracle HCM is a cloud-based solution and it is easy to maintain so the organization decided to go for it. It has more additional modules than any other HCM solutions in the market.
Oracle is a fully cloud-based solution and we no need to maintaining extra infrastructure in house. All the HR-related data is in the cloud with no risk of data loss in a disaster which is why our organization chose Oracle HCM.
Although Oracle HCM does not have the ability to be as customizable as PeopleSoft but it is more user-friendly. Also, the ability to use mobile devices with Oracle HCM is a great savings considering we have to build fluid pages separately in PeopleSoft.
I like Dayforce's timesheet inputs. I like that there is both the rapid entry and the timesheet tabs. It's easy and quick, and it makes a lot of sense. I wish Dayforce would pay out RSP payments, rather than log them only. It would eliminate a step for us and make things faster. But it's only once per year, so not a huge issue.
Oracle HCM is very much helpful and well suited in the recruitment and placement process and HR data. It makes it easier for HR in [organizations] to keep track of who is in and out of the [organization]. Improvement can be made by allowing employees to record their own data and update it as and when necessary without having to go through HR first.
Ceridian Powerpay simplifies the payroll process, very little manual work involved during each payroll run.
Ceridian Powerpay is mostly an intuitive interface with easy to understand workflows to allow for multiple users to be able to use the system if required.
Government entities share data readily on applicants and HCM doesn't make it easy to have applications transferred between organizations. If applicants could apply once and send that application to multiple entities that would really make it more appealing to clients. This is a niche that is currently filled with NEOGOV, however Oracle's analytics are far superior to those in NEOGOV
There are no customizations allowed so clients need to work within the configuration standards or create a bolt on. Many times your greatest asset is also one of your biggest weaknesses.
Oracle is a large company and sometimes it can be hard to navigate the support matrix that they have set up. They also have tiers of support so you can pay more to get more, which isn't optimal from a customer point of view.
Powerpay exceeds my expectations: it's easy to use and does not 'eat' my time by wondering what the end result will be. I can see what each employee's pay statement will look like before I submit the payroll for processing. Monthly processing fees are not exorbitant and the service from support it top notch, quick and awesome when you need it! What's not to like? It's a terrific company to have on your side!
Taleo does what we need it to do and based on the costs from both a time and money perspective, I don't see us changing anytime soon. If anything I think we will look to leverage the capabilities available that we may not already be using.
Dayforce Powerpay has a great interface that makes it easy to navigate, easy to remit payroll, and easy to report after the fact. It has made overseeing and executing our payroll easier for me as an administrator, and our staff find their portal easy to navigate as well. The only thing that I find less desirable is that you need to start a payroll in order to make any adjustments to employees' information.
After the initial training's, it was quite intuitive to use the application. The application is based upon best practices and the overall flows are quite logical. The train stop approach also ensures that users understand where they are in the process cycle. Also, the number of clicks have been greatly rationalized to ensure that there is more streamlined experience.
I have never experienced application errors or unplanned outages. I do know that I could phone Dayforce Powerpay and give them hours and other deductions and they would do the payroll and I could either have them deliver the completed payroll by courier (there are small extra charges for this) or I could download the completed payroll on pay day. I have also been able to complete payroll our payroll at home instead of at the office. Dayforce is very accessible by phone or online.
It works well. However we recently discovered that it no longer is supported on Internet Explorer so we had to change the default browser for everyone in our organization to MS Edge.
Pages online load in seconds. Click and it's instantly there! I have never had pages not loading properly or taking time to load. Payroll reports also downloads quickly. We do not interface Dayforce Powerpay with anything else
Regardless the issue, the Customer Support team is offering outstanding services! When I am calling, the wait time is reasonable, and the team members will ensure you receive the right support in a timely manner, with politeness and kindness. If you reach out the team that it's a guarantee that your issue will be solved!
The rating is based upon our current level of support. The overall experience has vastly changed since we moved into product paid support. 'Also, with Oracle going with the model of quarterly patches, it makes sense to have the product company provide support to the overall application thereby eliminating the problems of bugs.
I have used Powerpay before (at a previous employer) but a few years had elapsed. I had a quick online training session (less that 30 minutes) to recover basic knowledge and I was away. I still from time to time have to do something that i am not quite sure of and pick up the phone! Every one that works at Ceridian - now Dayforce - have been able to answer my question and tell me where to go in the program, click on what and do what I need to do. The support is out-of-this-world good!
I initiated the implementation. I answered all the questions I was asked, prepared the documentation and sent it off and it was done! Quickly, efficiently and done well!
There is a lot of potential on Fusion. We have reaped about 10% of potential benefits. Especially on Workforce Intelligence, the opportunities are huge. The reason why we do not use the solution at its full potential is not in the product (which is simple and transparent). A roadmap is under construction to bring more of its potential to the end user.
Even though Quickbooks was cheaper, I would have to do more work, much more information added into the system and while I would pay less per pay run, there was a lot more work for me to do. I prefer to pay a little extra and spend my time making money instead of the headache of trying to submit everything. It may work well for those who use that program with everything else on a daily basis, but I don't and also did not want to learn a new system when I have something that works really well!
Our prior experience was Evolution Payroll but it didn't meet up our expectations and the kind of excellence we wanted from it. But I would say that Evolution Payroll is another option for those who don’t want to avail multiple tasking and automated employment facilities like the way Oracle HCM Cloud offers.
We have a small staff of less than 20 employees. We moved our payroll from a previous provided because of terrible and expensive service. Dayforce is much, much easier to use and costs about 30% less than the previous provider. Dayforce Powerpay also seem to have people that speaks clearly and are efficient in everything they do so that less time is wasted by phone calls that has you on hold for 3 hours!
The return on investment has been substantial for our company. Having a payroll system that calculates everything for you, processes important documents, and only takes minimal time and effort allows us to focus more time on running the business and generating revenue.
Instead of having a user spend half a day (or potentially a full day) processing payroll, it only takes a couple hours (obviously depending on how many employees need to be processed).
We were not good at tracking any numbers around recruiting so now this last year we have been able to set the benchmark that we now can work toward improving.
At any given time, we could not say how many open positions we had. Now we are able to keep track of that.
We do a much better job with communicating with candidates now, especially the ones not selected. This will help us maintain a better reputation and attract the candidates back for other jobs they may be a better fit for in the future.
