Considered Both Products
Dialpad Connect
Chose Dialpad Connect
Dialpad Connect was much easier to set up (Twilio's regulatory bundle approvals are inconsistent-- the documents I sent them using our account were rejected, but were approved using the same documents when I applied for a phone number from Close CRM's Twilio integration).

Chose Dialpad Connect
I can't really tell you as I haven't tried a competitor, I'm not sure what others there really are. I guess it's better than Twilio but that's not an apples to apples comparison.
Chose Dialpad Connect
Vonage Business Communications, Nextiva, 8x8 Contact Center and GoTo Connect
Chose Dialpad Connect
For the smaller center, Dialpad is a good fit
Chose Dialpad Connect
My previous provider had bad call quality, calls would drop and my phone would randomly dial other numbers. All of these issues have been alleviated with Dialpad. It has been a great and useful service since I signed up.
Chose Dialpad Connect
I'd say Dialpad was similarly priced but had more features. OpenPhone was the best in terms of usability.
Chose Dialpad Connect
It's more user friendly and private, i don't receive any unrelated messages from outside our work organization.
Chose Dialpad Connect
Panterra is dependable and has good support. Dialpad Connect has more features and an easier interface. AT&T has a lot of features, but Dialpad Connect's interface is easier. AT&T does not do call transcription that I know of. Comcast BVE and 8x8 services are lower quality and …
Chose Dialpad Connect
Been many years, as i was in previous job. Travel agency that worked like a call center. But its been 5 years on Dialpad and it functions for us as a call center. But has better options
Chose Dialpad Connect
Dialpad checked all the boxes for us, from Integration capabilities to being a single pane of glass for both the admin and end user.

The other products were varied in what they offered vs what we were looking for. Some had features we liked, but didn't like the overall look or …
Chose Dialpad Connect
Dialpad Connect more than holds its own against its competitors. It's pricing and support are very good. Additionally it's free trial offer is instrumental in demonstratingto a customer it's ability to pay for itself without concerning potential new clients with immediate and …
Chose Dialpad Connect
Zoom is a popular option, but not that easy to set up - not even close compared to Dialpad Ai Meetings!
Chose Dialpad Connect
Company decided on a service that was more inclusive then just using Zoom or something similar. Also we have had some bad experiences with Ring Central
Chose Dialpad Connect
More expensive, but way more functional
Chose Dialpad Connect
We canceled Slack for our internal communication and meetings
Chose Dialpad Connect
Dialpad Connect is very helpful for everyone. After switching to Orum, I feel that Orum better fits our business needs as it can serve as both a power and parallel dialer. The best part is the live coaching feature, where I can listen in on any calls in real-time to coach my …
Chose Dialpad Connect
Other products we looked at did not work with our customized Salesforce environment.
Chose Dialpad Connect
As mentioned before, features are inituitive on DialPad and easy to use. Sound quality, scheduling and other features available are as expected.
Chose Dialpad Connect
Neither Zoom nor Teams automatically send your conference recordings to the chair or organizer; you have to go in and download them. Zoom/Teams will notify when the meeting is about to start; however I have never been contacted by the system or auto-connected to the meeting by …
Chose Dialpad Connect
Dialpad is designed with a mobile-first approach, making it a strong choice for teams that need to manage calls, messages, and meetings on the go. Dialpad may be better than Zoom for businesses that need a comprehensive communication platform with a strong emphasis on voice …
Highfive (discontinued)
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
Highfive has much better video streaming than Skype for business. It allows for multiple attendees to stream at once and collaborate. The options for sharing your screen or desktop is good too.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
I have used most of these products primarily as a user and rarely as a host. The one I have the most experience with is Join.me. I believe that product better matches my needs and is much more flexible for small meetings that I host from my laptop. What they do not have is more …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
In my opinion, Zoom is a far superior product to Highfive because it has everything that they are missing. The ability to remove people from meetings was a huge pain point for us as people will forget to close out of Highfive and we had no way of removing forcing us to create …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
We ultimately did not actually select Highfive. Zoom was more robust than Highfive was and we were already using Zoom for external meetings. We just decided to switch everything to the same licensing.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
Webex is quite clunky. The user interface is not as simple to use as UberConference and you have to download an app in order to use it on your desktop. Because of this, new users are often late to meetings because of the time it takes to download the app. UberConference doesn't …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
I haven't really used anything besides UberConference since I started my professional career. I know that RingCentral has something similar, but every other conference line I've seen has required a huge complicated PIN number. You won't believe how much of a difference that …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference has a great platform that costs us nothing to use. We love it.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
Zoom and RingCentral do not have a free version, to my knowledge. The technology for both is good but requires a download which causes delays for new users, especially when working with multiple clients.

Google Hangouts is my go-to but many clients do not have access to Google …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference offering the conference line and screensharing functions for free was the reason we chose it originally. We looked at Clearslide, Zoom and Webex, and at the time we looked at them they all required a fee and they had a lot more bells and whistles than …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference works well but I think Loom might have a slight edge with screen share recording.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference is comparable to the other platforms for conference calls. We use Zoom internally but vendors use it to schedule our demo calls for their products and services.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
N/A - We have not worked to find other alternatives.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
They all have a free version. They all have clear audio and video. Skype has unlimited amount of time allowed where Zoom and now UberConference limit your calls to 45 minutes and then they just cut out.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference is so much more intuitive, easy to use, and easy to manage compared to FreeConfereceCall.com. The controls over user access and communication is unmatched, too. There's really no reason to ever use FreeConferenceCall.com once you experience UberConference.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference is a much cleaner tool than the other options out there. I prefer to host all conference meetings so we can use UberConference and avoid the other choices. Any time I'm invited to a meeting and a PIN is required, it's become a chore and annoyance.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
We selected UberConference due to its overall value: robust features and a competitive price.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
Uberconference in my opinion is the best software out there. One of the things that makes it especially better than all of the other options is that there is no additional software needed for us our our clients. We used to have so many issues with downloading software and …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
I like the fact that UberConference does not require any downloads. Our being able to conference with clients and colleagues that may not be tech-savvy or may have their computers locked down by IT makes a huge difference to us. UberConference ease of use and free use tier are …
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
UberConference is free and easy to start and invite users to. It lacks the features of other paid options like Zoom and Slack, and even Zoom's free plan can often satisfy many of our requirements over UberConference.
Chose Highfive (discontinued)
If this had conference recording it would stack up well. It's not quite as fully featured, but it gets the job done.

It is well-suited for basic calling functionality, but has been a poor experience for us when used for texting, as it lacks some of the features of other platforms, such as Haymarket. It is also challenging to capture good analytics, as this is neither easy nor clear for users to find.

UberConference is well suited to almost any application. It is best suited for teleconference or p2p meetings over the computer. It can be used as a dial-in conference bridge but the paid tier offers more functionality on that level. It can even be used to technical support due to the built-in screen sharing feature and can be extremely useful when the end-user has no way to install an application privilege escalation. I would not recommend this as it's primary feature as this limited to just seeing what is on the screen and not so much geared toward remote-control or admin level administration. Uber Conference is extremely easy to setup and create spaces for having online meetings, it really excels at this and has handy visual aids to let you know what is going on with everyone else.

Pros
  • I can make calls through the app & the caller ID shows my office line - I can toggle between the main business line and my direct line.
  • It keeps all of my voicemails & transcriptions in one place.
  • The desktop login allows me to access everything as well.

  • I appreciate being able to select a local phone number: it adds credibility and convenience for in-market clients/prospects.
  • I like being able to customize the hold music. One of our employees wrote and produced custom hold music for Anvil, which generates discussion and engagement as an ice-breaker.
  • The screen sharing is easy-to-use and is far more reliable than in the past. Prospects and clients do not have to download any app to make it work properly.

Cons
  • The previous call window was way better to see full screen.
  • Having the call options down below makes it uncomfortable and users need to take more steps to do thing that used to take just a click or 2.
  • I would like to adjust the left side menu a little more

  • Can be very laggy - I have been part of screen share conferences where the connection keeps dropping.
  • Call quality is not always the best.
  • Limited functionality - this cannot be your all-in-one go-to conferencing solution because there are no video call capabilities.

As of now, the way this system allows us to call each other, text each other (inner office) as well as communicate with customers while being fully integrated with our CRM (Service Titan) has made everything so much easier for everyone. Thus far, I am super thrilled with the ease of use, integration and all the reasons we chose Dialpad Talk are working great

UberConference is more expensive than some of its competitors and we have not found a real advantage to using UberConference over certain less-expensive applications. UberConference charges per month per organizer and those costs add up quickly, so we will be moving forward with a more budget-friendly option in the coming months.

Usability
Dialpad Connect is good and recommended for any organization. It is a good value. It can accomplish everything that your organization is looking for, and no one will say it is outside the budget for any 50+ person organization. The AI feature is very useful. The dashboard could be a bit easier to manage, and the integration with Salesforce could be a bit smoother.

The interface is intuitive and stupidly simple, no complicated sub-menus or configuration settings. Easy to create a meeting space and then have others join with a link or dial-in PIN on the free tier. On the paid tier it's even easier with PIN-less joining and automatic reminder calls to get participants to join.

Reliability and Availability
There have not been any outages that I am aware of and we have had consistently good coverage since the start. There can be a slight lag from the office to the mobile app, but it is not terribly noticeable and it has not resulted in any calls being prematurely hung up

Performance
The emails of voice transcription come very quickly after a call has been completed and except for a few fairly difficult names are pretty accurate. The ability to quickly listen to the voicemail from email without having to open the app is also a bonus. I have not noticed or heard of any slowdowns

Support Rating
  1. Dialpad Onboarding support was okay. I think this was because we used a 3rd party vendor. We had a lot of issues with provisioning the phones.
  2. The Dialpad sales rep forgot to mention that Dialpad is only compatible with Polycom desk phones so we bad to purchase new phones last minute.
  3. We were supposed to get 3 months free when we signed up with Dialpad as a courtesy but the charged us for the 3rd month. They have resolved this error but I think there was no designated point of contact on Dialpad's end to help things move more smoothly.

I haven't needed support for the most part, which is a positive for Highfive. It's intuitive and most features are straightforward to use. In the one instance that I did contact them, it took them longer then expected to respond, but they were able to answer my question once they did.

Scalability
So far, Dialpad has been a great improvement for our organization. It allows everyone to be on the same service and the integration with the mobile app means everyone is still using the "office" numbers even when on the go which makes it easier not having to balance multiple phone numbers from people

Return on Investment
  • Allows us to reach the maximum amount of callers, at least 100
  • Worth the annual price of $180 to hold conferences with members
  • Access to the Dialpad system 24/7 to hold meetings
  • Abillity to share conference recordings to members/callers for follow-up

  • Our teams use this every day. It makes it easy to meet with clients and share a screen and display analytics.
  • Some of my clients thought that they need to register first to be able to contact me. It's bad that they are not notified in any way that it's enough just to enter its names and that's it.
