Looking at Eightfold from a holistic approach, it is an essential tool for a fast growing company (ideally Mid-Market to Enterprise) to utilize this technology. By having access and the ability to search for previous applicants or candidates through our pre-existing pool, is a game-changer. As a company continues to grow, one will need to think of different avenues to find your next batch of employees - why not start with a group that has already engaged with your brand in the past.

hireEZ is well suited to small to midsize companies in my experience. For companies with minimal budget they will negotiate better terms for a longer contract. You also control the number of seats you pay for and the type. It is basically a la carte pricing.

  • Integration with our ATS (Greenhouse) and other social media outlets (LinkedIn)
  • Cross-functional ability to build drip campaigns and allowing the platform to do a lot of back lifting
  • Accessibility for Hiring Managers to use a portal for existing candidates

  • Custom insights based on search criteria.
  • Contact information & social link retrieval.
  • Applicant Tracking System Integration -- At OnPoint we use Lever as our ATS. Hiretual allows us to export candidate data directly into our ATS and associate said candidates to a specific requisition, & in a specific stage.

  • Reporting- not all accounts are set up to run reports, however, I feel like this should be standard across all users.
  • Integration with other VMS-based systems- right now it only works for 1 type of system, so we are left to manually publish all open roles.
  • Centralized candidate tab, where you can filter and search for candidates based on a variety of filters.

  • I have come across many duplicate profiles that could cause me to contact the same person twice in a short period.
  • Doesn’t have an “undo” button for if I accidentally mark a candidate as “not a good fit”
  • Their “variables” used in creating email templates don’t function optimally. If you use “candidate last name”, and the person has a title, it will use the title instead of name. For example… I sent an email to a doctor and it sent as “Dr. MD”. Not ideal.

I am a user of three years and have seen the features grow over time. I love how responsive the team is when there is an issue and their willingness to work towards a feature request is unmatched. I also find the accuracy of the data is comparable if not better than most competitors

Both my account representative and the founding partner have reached out to me proactively to offer assistance and my account manager has been very responsive on the rare occasions when I have required assistance. I would highly recommend Hiretual to recruiters if they are "over" LinkedIn. It is a terrific tool!

Alternatives Considered
We found that Eightfold [AI] offered greater functionality than other vendors and their partnership with SuccessFactors ensured our ATS integration would go smoothly. Eightfold offers CRM capabilities, AI matching, marketing campaigns, and a careers page landing site. The breadth of services offered is what ultimately made the selection an easy one for us.

I think they are very similar but different in their own right. LinkedIn Recruiter is what most of grew our careers on and are familiar with. The negative with them is there really has not been many updates with them over the years and it seems their system is getting less reliable every day with crashes or glitches. hireEZ has constantly done updates and added new features that make the experience better for the user. Also the functionalities are different and useful for what we do at our company.

  • The deployment of Hiretual allowed us to reduce our spend via LinkedIn (as it sources from LinkedIn) by 6 figures. It's been a game changer.
  • Some of our projects on Hiretual have been so successful that we've been able to close out hard to fill roles much faster than the benchmark for those roles.
