Considered Both Products
Entelo
Chose Entelo
Entelo is similar to SeekOut in general, but I prefer Entelo as I find I have more success finding the candidates I am looking for. It has everything I need and then some, and that is what I like about it. I also love the Chrome extension and its ease of use.
Chose Entelo
Entelo stacks up very well and I would recommend if you are looking for something more than LinkedIn. One of the best tools to source candidates.
Chose Entelo
This is the only automated sourcing tool I've used.
Chose Entelo
I have used Linkedin Talent/Recruiter for years but one significant advantage that Entelo has is the fact that you can obtain candidate personal contact info and tracking of any emails you sent. I felt when I was recruiting for engineers, any Inmails I would send would not be …
Chose Entelo
Not as comprehensive as Linkedin Talent but does provide more insight into candidates experience and skills. However this is something we find out about candidates through our software so not critical for entelo to provide this to us.
Chose Entelo
No we have not explored other alternatives.
Chose Entelo
I've used and demoed several products of which I've used the below;

-Connectifier (solid tool but limited actionable activities)
Chose Entelo
I have used Scavado and it is helpful, but, Entelo is much more targeted and lets me keep track of what I'm doing and who I'm sending e-mails. I wish it would tell me if I've looked at a profile before and there are some candidates that seem to be uncontactable through Entelo, …
Chose Entelo
We've also used Mixmax and ZenSourcer, which are better for automatic follow-ups, but Entelo's product is improving quickly and we're sticking with it for now.
Chose Entelo
Hiretual and Entelo have very similar sourcing capabilities. They pull from the same data sources and are able to find personal and professional contact information. Hiretual is superior for sourcing Facebook and Entelo has the email product(Hiretual doesn't have one) to be …
Chose Entelo
No other platform I have used has the quality and usability of Entelo. Each has one specific feature that doesn't interact well with others. This has many helpful features in a single, trackable resource.
LinkedIn Recruiter
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter provides best features as compared to competitors. Pool of candidates is more as compared to others. Recommendation features help gauge genuine candidates.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn is one part community, and one part sourcing tool. Other tools are are more strictly a resume database of job seekers. LinkedIn Recruiter allows us to reach candidates not necessarily looking for a job which is valuable.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter provides a large pool of candidates across all these job boards and a vast number of filters that you can use to find specific talent. Features like Inmails do wonders in connecting with candidates. With the help of LinkedIn Recruiter, we are able to identify …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
it is major used portal where we can connect with candidate directly without any personal touch. the professional skill, job role and past experience of the candidate is very genuine.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter is globally used common platform for the Job positing, searching and sourcing. It is more valuable than other tools
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
To be honest, they are both two different beasts. I think LinkedIn Recruiter is more practical. I think the UI is cleaner and everything is easier to navigate. However, ZoomInfo provides far more information about the company someone works for by giving me insight into their …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
SeekOut has a diversity filter, which I like. They also list some candidates that are not on LinkedIn, but ultimately SeekOut routes me to LinkedIn. So technically SeekOut allows me to screen for filters that LinkedIn does not, but I actually end up using LinkedIn Recruiter to …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter has the largest reach globally. I mean, if you're not on LinkedIn, do you even exist? ;) It is the only real game in town for one-stop-shopping for candidates. The service is premium, and so is the price. However, there is nothing that I'm aware of in the …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn is the #1 source of profiles. It has the most, and a lot of other sourcing sites are based around the frameworks of LinkedIn, or bring you directly to their profiles.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
I use both LinkedIn Recruiter and SeekOut. I start my candidate search with LinkedIn Recruiter due to its ease of use, high candidate yield, and integration with Linkedin for the sake of contacting candidates.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
SeekOut's boolean filters are better but SeekOut primarily runs as a support to LinkedIn Recruiter. Meaning that even if I find someone on SeekOut I still use LinkedIn Recruiter to outreach and track that candidate.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter provides a very actualized database of candidates, always providing information about their current status on Linkedin. You can source, recruit, communicate with candidates, and document the interactions in this platform, which makes it easier.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter is better than Indeed when hiring high level professionals. It gives a lot more qualified candidates and more access to profiles. It allows you to seek out candidates, where Indeed does not unless you pay an extensive amount and even when you do, you are …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
There was not much difference between the Indeed Hiring Platform and LinkedIn Recruiter, both of them offered more or less the similar services and feature sets. Why LinkedIn Recruiter was chosen was due to its global reach and ease of having a complete view into the candidate …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
No comparison - it is the best when recruiting high caliber talent. There is still room for niche roles (i.e., Dice) but this tool is critical.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
It's not even close, Recruiter is the far superior product.
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
LinkedIn Recruiter is better than Dice because it has passive and active candidates. Dice only has candidates that are posting their resumes so those candidates are being contacted by tons of recruiters at once. Dice has become worse and worse in terms of the quality of …
Chose LinkedIn Recruiter
I love the LinkedIn Inmail system because I can target candidates who would be open to a conversation. I think this is a winning feature. I love that ZoomInfo has an automation platform and provides work phone, cell phone, business email and personal email addresses for most …

Great for reaching out to passive candidates and standing out instead of using LI. Candidates are used to receiving the same messages in the same format and by using this tool we have the chance to mix it up and try and stand out from our competition. Entelo has been an awesome addition to my toolbox

I can manage candidates from the search to moving them to projects to messaging in one place, which makes it a more streamlined and efficient process. If a candidate does not respond to an outreach message from my LinkedIn Recruiter mailbox, I can then send a connection request and a message directing them, to the recruiter message.

Pros
  • Email Tracking. You are able to track your open rates, click-thru rates, and reply rates of your email campaigns. This allows you to a/b test different subject lines and bodies of emails to see what really works.
  • Find personal email addresses. Of all the tools that I use Entelo has the highest success rate of finding personal email addresses of candidates. I would say they hit on about 70-80% of the candidates I want to contact and that number increases for tech talent.
  • Entelo pulls from many different data sources across the web to create an Entelo profile of the candidate. You are able to source all these different sources from one platform.
  • You can filter out candidates that are already on one of your Lists (think Projects on LInkedIn Recruiter), previously contacted, previously viewed, founders, and recruiters which is great so you aren't running through the same candidates over and over again. They also have many of the other normal filters likes company, education, company size, etc.
  • They recently launched a new product, Envoy. Entelo Envoy uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to automatically find, nurture and deliver interested job candidates directly to the email inboxes of recruiters.

  • The scheduler is my most favorite part of Recruiter. Super easy and organized to use.
  • It also can integrate with my applicant tracking system when and if I hire from LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • The fact that you can see an applicants full profile gives more information than just a resume when selecting candidates to interview.

Cons
  • Sourcing through Entelo's candidate database is more limited than looking for candidates on LinkedIn.
  • Sometimes profiles are stale on Entelo's database so I would have to look elsewhere to find the updated information.
  • The database is not a great source for non engineering profiles.

  • For some reason, whenever I click "View in Recruiter" it takes me to the project summary screen instead of that candidate's profile in Recruiter
  • It would be nice if candidates got automatically moved to the appropriate stage when an action is taken (ie "Contacted" after sending them a message)

This portals helps to source the profile directly from the LinkedIn where I don't need to check the resume and LinkedIn separately every time. LinkedIn Recruiter is the best platform for posting the job effortlessly. It requires only few details and we can get response quicker.

Alternatives Considered
I have used LinkedIn Talent/Recruiter for years but one significant advantage that Entelo has is the fact that you can obtain candidate personal contact info and tracking of any emails you sent. I felt when I was recruiting for engineers, any Inmails I would send would not be read by the candidate, since many recruiters tend to bombard technical candidates with multiple inmails. With Entelo, you feel like your email isn't lost in a crowd since there is a tracking mechanism and the notification of when a candidate opens an email is great! I selected Entelo because of the ease of use, the functionality of tracking emails and contact info. I have sourced many candidates using the platform and I'm very happy! I will continue using Entelo in my recruiting efforts. I highly recommend to any recruiting department that relies heavily in sourcing candidates.

  • It's a must have for reaching passive candidates.
