Gong helps people and companies reach their potential. The Gong Revenue Intelligence Platform™ enables customer-facing teams to take advantage of their most valuable assets – customer interactions, which the Gong platform automatically captures and analyzes. Gong then delivers insights at scale, to empower revenue and go-to-market teams to determine the best actions for winning outcomes. The vendor boasts companies like Morningstar Inc., Paychex, LinkedIn,…
We stayed with Chorus by ZoomInfo because of the superior way it recaps our calls. Depending on the length of the call and what is being discussed, Chorus by ZoomInfo will usually provide 10 key points in clear detail. When we used Gong, we were finding it was only providing …
It works well with the ability to find contacts as these are typically the ppl i engage and will then have on my own calls. Being able to find new contacts and then see how the interaction is with them has provided me with direction in deals and works well to get things moving …
We have evaluated Gong, but have yet to use it. Mainly, we are in a three year contract with ZoomInfo, and aren't able to remove one part of the contract in favor of another. Gong seems like a decent product, but I am unable to determine if it is better, worse, or the same as …
I used google analytics with Primerica. I payed for it myself to see how my team I was managing was holding up to other teams in the region. Chorus works so much better and if it would have been in my capability to use chorus I would have.
We prefer Gong compared to Chorus because it offers a more robust set of features, better integrations, more automated workflows, and world-class customer support.
Chorus.ai stacks up against Salesloft, Zoom, and Aircall because none of these tools provide a way to analyze what occurred during the meeting or create a transcript that prevents you from having to take notes.
I know our director has evaluated Chorus.ai and Gong before opting to work with Chorus.ai, but I am not sure what was it that made him decide to go with Chorus.ai and not with Gong.
New Business Sr. Account Executive at RollWorks, a division of NextRoll
Chose Chorus by ZoomInfo
It was a night and day difference. I like all the bells and whistles you get with Chorus.ai. To me, Chorus.ai is the "Lincoln Navigator" of call recording tools.
I loved Truly as a work phone (to keep my personal life separate) but there was no coaching aspect and it was harder for teammates to see each other's calls.
None. I have not used a tool like this before. I have only used teleconference and video conference tools to record up until we were introduced to Chorus.ai.
Gong's task manager is slightly quicker than Salesloft, with fewer steps to go from one action to the next. Having all the calls and emails under one page is nice, and the ability to organize how you want to action streamlines the process. Having Gong.io readily available is …
The only similar software I've used is Chorus by Zoominfo. I don't find Zoominfo to be particularly helpful other than for up to date contact info, so having these functions tied to gether is not so important to me, and the actual functionality of Chorus is nowhere near as …
Just way more depth of detail. It seems more purpose suited for our particular use case (sales and pre-sales), while the others were more suited for general note taking
Gong is more like a personal assistant and provides helpful insights that zoom doesn't. zoom is more for the call recording and and presentation on the call.
Gong is way more robust than other tools I've used at other companies, and the UI is infinitely easier. I didn't have a hand in bringing Gong to my current company so unsure if there was a previous tool it replaced.
I love how Gong combines call recordings and outreach as a tool as it is easier to see previous activity before contacting the prospect or client. The general user experience is much better than Allego and Jiminny. I would say as a pure prospecting tool, I liked the usage and …
I've used Chorus at a past company. It seems to do the transcriptions similarly accurately to Gong. Good enough call recording. The call feedback can be done too although maybe not as easily. I do not believe Chorus can create call playlists. I do feel there are a lot less …
Gong stacks all that platforms because use the best of AI to give you a lot of amazing insights of your past calls and helps you to write FUP e-mails and other stuff that consumes a lot of time from a salesperson. Gong will help you to find your best version as a salesperson …
I was not involved in the selection of Gong, and honestly before I got it, I couldnt have envisioned how helpful it wouldve been for my needs as a customer success manager. It saves me time and gives me confidence in calls I am capturing all informaiton
As someone who is involved in many calls with CIOs or administrators discussing ERP or EMR integrations, compliance workflows, or digital transformation initiatives, these conversations involve complex technical discussions, multiple stakeholders, and long sales cycles where capturing detailed requirements and follow-up commitments is crucial. Having sales intelligence benefits the complexity of the buying process.
Gong is an excellent tool for tracking customer interactions with your team whether it be through e-mail or phone calls. It also provides an excellent format for scoring the calls your individual contributors are making. Researching interactions through artificial intelligence provides a ton of hours of time saved for our team. It is not a replacement for your CRM or source of truth
If you forgot to add Gong to your meeting, the Gong bot will take a while (a minute or so) to be added. This might lead to you losing some time for the meeting recording.
A quicker way to get the 'Share with customer' URL. I often have to go through a few clicks before getting it.
It's hard for me to give anything more than a 5 at this point. The primary reason is that we have only used it for a few months and I'm still getting a feel for the level of value it provides both to me and the team. In 4 or 5 months I'll have a better understanding of its value long term
Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. The deal boards also provide great visibility into opps for management and leadership
This was sold internally as something that would help us be more efficient. I had high hopes that the speech-to-text feature would be useful for getting call notes/next steps, etc documented. But due to the limitations of the software, these things would take longer using Chorus than if I just write things down manually - disappointing.
I gave it a 9 here because Gong is well-suited for being a one-stop-shop for call listening as a while. The reason I didn't rate it a 10 is the UI can sometimes be a bit tough to navigate and figure out where to do certain actions.
I personally have not had too many major issues with Chorus, but the times that I have reached out to their customer support team I have always received great responses in a very timely manner. Their support team is trained in a very polite way and cares about resolving your issue. They are knowledgeable and helpful and the customer service line does not take long to connect to a real individual.
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
Like I noted in the other category, it has been smooth for the most part. But we really do enjoy the hard work of our CSM and everything he has been able to provide us in terms of support.
We looked at Gong but went with Chorus by ZoomInfo because it felt more practical for our team. Gong has great analytics, but Chorus by ZoomInfo fit better into our existing tech stack and budget. The deal notifications, scorecards, and integrations with Zoom and Salesforce made it the smarter pick. Overall, Chorus by ZoomInfo gives us the insights we need without feeling like overkill or another heavy lift.
Gong has by far the most comprehensive information about each call, and integrates the best with our CRM: Salesforce. Not only that, but the call recording itself is the least intrusive, and it is automatically added to every external call that our team creates.
I've improved my ability to find solutions for my clients. I'm now more effective in meetings because I can pay closer attention while the entire conversation is automatically recorded and transformed into text.
I can process a large number of emails without feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of information I receive daily. With the summaries created with Gong, I can now make faster and more effective decisions without hesitation.
It doesn't take much effort to learn how to use this platform; this saves me a lot of time when training new members of my team to use this indispensable tool in the workplace.
