Handshake and Untapped both have their pros and cons. The campaign features in Handshake are really unparalleled and allow you to reach a relevant and diverse set of students quickly and efficiently. Untapped has the ability to go through the profiles of individual students to …
SO much better than Symplicity. Compared to other platforms for university/school recruiting efforts, Handshake is unmatchable and has been the best option out of all systems.
I like Handshake Talent Engagement Suite much better than this platform as it is much easier to identify talent and find exactly what we are looking for to use as a repository for what we need and the time we need it in. We selected this because we needed to make new hires …
I think Handshake is similar to LinkedIn Recruiter in a lot of ways. The main differentiator for me/our company is who we are trying to reach or target. LinkedIn is not an easy platform to find early careers talent on, so Handshake has been the best way for us to connect with …
In terms of overall application experience, I think the other companies do a better job with richer features. Where Handshake shines, however, is in how it 1. is mainly focused on new grads and internships, making filtering less necessary, and 2. its suite of other features …
Handshake Talent Engagement Suite is similar to indeed in the ease of communication, but we prefer to use Indeed in our organization because the connection with a school can be declined. Some of our recruitment team members have experienced a long delay of making connections …
Our company uses HireEZ and LinkedIn Recruiter as well, but Handshake Talent Engagement Suite makes the most sense for our University Relations team due to the focus on college students and recent grads. HireEZ is the opposite and isn't very effective at targeting college …
We use ADP Recruitment function with our account. It works for posting on job sites outside of school and universities but doesn't hit those though its channels. I have to use Handshake in order to achieve my needs.
We have used other sites to help with our recruiting needs, such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Craigslist. I would say Handshake and Indeed are at the top of our go-to list open positions.
Schools used to use Symplicity as opposed to Handshake but for every school you had to make a new username and password for every one. This gives you one login where you can post to many. It makes it much easier and is a huge time saver.
I am not aware of the competitors to Handshake. However, Handshake is so awful that I think I might even write my own Web application that does what Handshake can do and do it better. In fact, I think that I made a "Bob Board" application back in the 1990's and it did just fine.
Lever is more of an ATS, while Handshake is a candidate database. It is also essential to be using good ATS when you have Handshake. You can organize your candidates and not forget about any of them. I do wish that Lever and Handshake worked together so that I can automatically …
Outside of personal relationships and Facebook groups, I use Handshake as well as Internships.com to find interns. While I sometimes like the easier format of Internships.com, I don't like the fact that I can't target schools. It's worldwide, so I rarely get the candidates I'm …
LinkedIn Recruiter is a game changer, however using HireEZ's chrome extension with LinkedIn Recruiter is the best of both worlds!! Those two together are my favorite way to source for candidates! I also love that I can integrate HireEZ with my ATS (Greenhouse) easily! And …
Advantage over Indeed and LinkedIn is that HireEZ aggregates this data into one place; however, contact info may not always be accurate so end up going to LinkedIn to contact these prospects.
hireEz has a better searching function, and a better database than both Gem and TopFunnel. The one thing TopFunnel does demonstrably better than any other competitor is the campaign writing tools that allow for you to automate emails and have them come off as specific to the …
hireEZ is a similar tool to Entelo, but it provides more integration, customer support, and forward thinking regarding what new features to add. The hireEZ platform is a good tool to include, in addition to LinkedIn Recruiter, as it will provide additional candidates that meet …
I would say hireEZ is 10 times better than having the LI Recruiter license for a fraction of the cost. It's much more efficient, it helps you manage projects, candidate communication in a much better way. I would recommend it 100%.
hireEZ is very comparable to SeekOut, the interface has slightly more features, and the product support is more hands-on. They are both great tools. LinkedIn recruiter is overpriced, and overrated, especially if you are looking for applicants that traditionally do not have …
In the assessment of the various tools, hireEZ was more intuitive, providing more reporting metrics tools, provided detailed analysis and has the ATS integration.
I prefer seekout over hireEZ. Although hireEZ has a nice UI/UX available to the user I feel sometimes their data is not current and that they rely heavily on keyword searches and are not great for people who are really good with the Boolean type of searches. I recommend you try …
They are all good in different ways. ZipRecruiter and Indeed are better at providing active candidates but Hiretual is better for uncovering candidates for upper-level positions. I slightly prefer Hiretual’s searches over Indeed because it saves my progress - candidates that I …
Hiretual is its own entity. It's unique and similar to the other programs I have used in the pass but by far had the best number of accurate profiles. I would probably say that the original team at Hiretual really treat you like family. They host community events, provide …
Hiretual is the quickest and best aggregator of social sites that I have worked with thus far. It is more comprehensive than LinkedIn Recruiter and has easier use than other aggregators that I have come across. It is a great net benefit for sourcing high-volume roles or unique …
I've had the same problem with every product - all seem to cater to and be used for computer programmers and technology services. None address civil engineering and consulting firms.
Vice President, Human Resources - Talent Acquisition
Chose hireEZ
Entelo is probably the closest competitor that stacks up against Hiretual head to head in my opinion, but the differentiator for us has been the relationship and the flexibility that the vendor provides us on top of the fact that the product itself continues to perform …
HIRETUAL is listed as "Recruiting Software", but really it's an email contact scrapper that is geared towards recruiters, but can also be used by other departments (Marketing, Biz Dev, etc)...
Compared to other similar products (Lusha, Nymeria, Discover.ly, Clearbit, …
I tried hireEZ because I wanted a fresh sourcing tool beyond the usual platforms. It helped me reach more passive candidates and made outreach easier to manage.
I think hireEZ has a been integration with our ATS, crelate. I also enjoy the google chrome extension and the ease / variety of things you can do just from the extension. being able to "see into" the ATS and sync/change stages based on what I can see from the hireEZ project …
I think they are very similar but different in their own right. LinkedIn Recruiter is what most of grew our careers on and are familiar with. The negative with them is there really has not been many updates with them over the years and it seems their system is getting less …
Compared to bulk messaging students who are listed as 'matches' on the job listing page, the segments & campaigns I created were so helpful in identifying leads & helping to convert those leads to applicants without me having to continually follow-up with students (thank you- follow-up email feature!) For roles that require a lot of applicant flow, or for positions that require a large cohort of hires at one time, these features are perfect.
hireEZ is well suited to small to midsize companies in my experience. For companies with minimal budget they will negotiate better terms for a longer contract. You also control the number of seats you pay for and the type. It is basically a la carte pricing.
Talent sourcing aggregate (known by Hiretual as AI Sourcing).
Custom insights based on search criteria.
Contact information & social link retrieval.
Applicant Tracking System Integration -- At OnPoint we use Lever as our ATS. Hiretual allows us to export candidate data directly into our ATS and associate said candidates to a specific requisition, & in a specific stage.
I would love if there were a better way to filter by experience. Currently, it's based on graduation date but a lot of my talent segments pick up people with 10+ years of experience that recently started or completed another degree. This is frustrating for the candidate who receives a bunch of misplaced messages and for recruiters who have to explain why they received a message about an internship they are clearly overqualified for. Can we separate grad year from years of experience in the segmentation somehow?
I wish there were an easier way to "blacklist" candidates who were rude or expressed a sentiment of never wanting to hear from me or my company again. These are people that I don't want to accidentally include in a campaign message 6 months later.
I have come across many duplicate profiles that could cause me to contact the same person twice in a short period.
Doesn’t have an “undo” button for if I accidentally mark a candidate as “not a good fit”
Their “variables” used in creating email templates don’t function optimally. If you use “candidate last name”, and the person has a title, it will use the title instead of name. For example… I sent an email to a doctor and it sent as “Dr. MD”. Not ideal.
The benefits of a larger universe of candidates and automating recognition of talent we cannot hire, hireEZ has been a big time saver just as a sourcing tool
I am a user of three years and have seen the features grow over time. I love how responsive the team is when there is an issue and their willingness to work towards a feature request is unmatched. I also find the accuracy of the data is comparable if not better than most competitors
Becca always responds very quickly to my questions. We had an issue where I couldn't register for a fair because another division of my company had already registered and this problem was fixed the next day. I feel like the team at Handshake Talent Engagement Suite actually cares about my experience. Not all companies do once the contract is signed! They definitely treat their customers well. I literally feel like I am their only customer.
Both my account representative and the founding partner have reached out to me proactively to offer assistance and my account manager has been very responsive on the rare occasions when I have required assistance. I would highly recommend Hiretual to recruiters if they are "over" LinkedIn. It is a terrific tool!
Handshake and Untapped both have their pros and cons. The campaign features in Handshake are really unparalleled and allow you to reach a relevant and diverse set of students quickly and efficiently. Untapped has the ability to go through the profiles of individual students to really source specific people (which Handshake doesn't allow), but the filtering features needed work and it was tougher to reach a lot of students at once.
I think they are very similar but different in their own right. LinkedIn Recruiter is what most of grew our careers on and are familiar with. The negative with them is there really has not been many updates with them over the years and it seems their system is getting less reliable every day with crashes or glitches. hireEZ has constantly done updates and added new features that make the experience better for the user. Also the functionalities are different and useful for what we do at our company.
Handshake has definitely positively impacted our business objectives. Handshake pulled some data for us and we found out that 39% of our hired interns & new grads thus far followed up with us, received a message, or RSVP'd to an event on Handshake so far this year.
The deployment of Hiretual allowed us to reduce our spend via LinkedIn (as it sources from LinkedIn) by 6 figures. It's been a game changer.
Some of our projects on Hiretual have been so successful that we've been able to close out hard to fill roles much faster than the benchmark for those roles.
Hiretual is not just a vendor for us, it is also a key partner and trusted advisor.
