Vincere
Chose Vincere
I find vincere much easier to use, and I've found the support team infinitely faster and more knowledgable. On my previous platform I had a business restructure, and in changing my arrangement with the ATS provider, I had multiple, massive issues. I've not had any issues with …
Chose Vincere
For our Business Case, Vincere works fine.
Chose Vincere
Against JobAdder a similar product but independent of NZ job boards. Against Bullhorn a similar product but less expensive in terms of cost and integrations. This becomes more important as you scale our business.
Chose Vincere
Having recently migrated to Vincere, our team received demonstrations and sales presentations from 2 other competitors. We were by far impressed by many of the Vincere features, the support on offer, the ability to add on further integrations and the mobile app with built in …
Chose Vincere
We use them because of legacy - I really hope the customer service part get the investment it deserves.
Chose Vincere
Much more userfriendly and easier to use for pipeline management.
Chose Vincere
Vincere is a super powerful tool for recruitment. Recommend to both newcomers and existing users who are not Vincere. Minimize a lot of administration.
Chose Vincere
We used to use Bullhorn, but moved to Vincere due to poor customer service from BH.
Chose Vincere
I felt Vincere had the best features, was being developed the quickest and was the best value for money. very customizable as well.
Chose Vincere
I have used about four different recruitment systems over my 13 years in recruitment and what the others didn't offer me I found in Vincere, and this is why I made the decision to go with them.
Chose Vincere
I selected Vincere as it offered everything (on paper and in the demo) that Bullhorn did for half the price (the market leader at the time). I should have realised not every deal is a deal. The product from month one displayed performance issues with the speed of the product …
Chose Vincere
The interface and the bulk-activities. Even though the others are more customizable, Vincere.io definitely gives you plenty of freedom when doing other tasks.
Chose Vincere
I found that both had similar capabilities, I chose Vincere due to the great customer service and support and the value for money is unrivaled..
Chose Vincere
We came very close to signing with Bullhorn. To be fair it looks like a good system but we've heard stories from contacts of ours who have been burned by them. Also, we dealt with about 4 different salespeople during the sales cycle which didn't sit well with me. After being on …
Chose Vincere
Easier to use, better customer service, developing great new features based on customer feedback, great value for money.
Chose Vincere
Bullhorn were so slow to get us a proposal that they missed the boat. Plus, the costs were just too high for us to justify. The product looks good but I had doubts about their ability to follow through with decent support as I've heard horror stories about them over promising …

Chose Salesforce Sales Cloud
Salesforce Sales Cloud is fully featured and is truly a platform solution vs Hubspot and Pipedrive that are very single use focused around CRM. NetSuite is legacy and has outdated user interfaces and experiences.

Chose Salesforce Sales Cloud

Salesforce Sales cloud is well integrated with a lot of other marketing and sales technology SAAS products that we use within our business, which is a big part of why I enjoy using it. Compared to NetSuite, it is a lot more user friendly, a modern platform that provides better …
Chose Salesforce Sales Cloud
Zoho is a poor and cheap copycat of Salesforce Sales Cloud with less reliability and much less data protection. I needed high compliance.
Chose Salesforce Sales Cloud
It was a no-brainer: Salesforce was the number 1 option. SF was by far the clear winner from the beginning, with the CEO having used it in a prior organization, his development knowledge, and knowing that it is the best product on the market, we only evaluated a second option …

The training videos are a great tool for someone new to the system, and lines up really well with the ease of use that the system demonstrates overall - my team all watched these over the course of a week and became fairly proficient in using the system before we had it rolled out. Previously systems i have used haven't allowed for the extraction of financials in enough detail from the system. Vincere allows us to break our data down by contingent and retained, then by stage in order to truly see our pipeline in detail.

Salesforce Sales Cloud is great for tracking your dealer (reseller) information, customer information, order information, and generating reports. You would want to use Salesforce as a smaller business because it is easy to use and keeps track of everything. You can also click on the reports tab and quickly generate different reports or save them as an Excel file to share with your team. You can set those reports with desired features and change them to fit your needs. I would say SF is not the best if you are going to send lots of marketing emails, etc, because it is not as visually friendly as HubSpot, for example.

Pros
  • Candidate search functions are brilliant
  • Has multiple integrations
  • Is constantly coming up with innovative solutions
  • Being independent of major New Zealand job boards means increased security of information. It is more difficult for the duopoly job boards here to assess where our candidate applications originates from. This is relevant given the involvement one prominent job board has with a competing ATS system.

  • Logging notes: SF makes it easy to log notes in the timeline or static notes that live in an easy-to-see spot for longevity.
  • Logging activities: It's easy to post a call, text, email, etc.
  • API data: Once connected, SF is critical to automation, such as website activity, login activity, pages visited, etc., which saves the Customer Success side time in understanding account activity.
  • Custom fields: you can add custom fields to really personalize your experience. We use quite a few and it's brilliant.

Cons
  • I would like to see the the recruitment process automated (e.g., when you move a candidate through the process that their status updates automatically and you don't need to do it manually yourself). When a candidate is going for an interview, the status at the top of their profile should automatically update. Then when they go for their first Interview, the status should automatically update and so on. Now you need to manually go and update all this, which is time consuming and can sometimes be forgotten.
  • The copy and paste function should be updated so that it can be used on all screens no mater where in the system you are, as not everyone knows how to do CRV files, etc. Copy/paste saves time for someone like me.

  • I'd like to see a global roll up, but individual customized versions by team
  • Consolidate! Agreements are often found under attachments, contracts, confidential information, cases, and a couple of more places
  • Statuses: Make the status, owner, and last touch date/time easier to find

There are days when I wish we hadn't switched, but I know that if we put in the time, we will get to where we want to be with the software and that it has many more capabilities than anything else we looked at. However, the amount of time and onboarding we need to do is also far greater than we realized/were told when we originally bought the product. They told us we should hire onboarding support, but at the end, after we had already reached our budget maximum for this, so it's been slower than we had hoped.

Usability
Great candidate management. A UI that could do with further visual development. Easy to use functions and great support from the Vincere team. Slightly clunky process for making a placement. Great candidate pics and star ratings. Overall easy of use that drives good adoption from my team

Salesforce has been designed on the basis of "Clicks, not code". So anyone willing to learn the Salesforce user interface (which is quite good as far as management software platforms go) is able to become a Salesforce user or even a Salesforce administrator. You don't have to know coding language to work in the Salesforce environment. Also, Salesforce has one of the best software training resources (Trailhead) that I have ever encountered. It is free to all, easy to use, and most importantly it is interactive. No scrolling through endless text in a user manual. There are hands-on modules and related videos interlaced and through it all you earn points and badges to display your level of learning.

All Force.com apps run on world-class data centers with backup, failover, and disaster-recovery facilities. Force.com has had a proven 99.9 percent uptime record for years. Accordingly, I only recall our instance of Salesforce having one unscheduled, brief down time over 6 years. I can't remember for sure, but it may have been due to our Internet Service Provider (ISP) versus Salesforce itself. Also, Salesforce does it's best to keep customers in the loop:

For a SaaS provider, I'd rate their performance to be one of the best. At times, reporting tends to slow down if the data set is very large, which is the case in any system. But, that's a very rare phenomenon

Our Implementation Consultant Alan is super helpful 10/10 recommend!! If I have a question he gets in contact super fast. If he does not have an answer right away he talks to other departments and gets back in thouch within 48 hours. He was definitely the most helpful person out of everyone we talked to

The overall support has been good. More and more features are being released quite frequently. Very small features are also making big difference in how the tool can be adapted and used better. If there is anything we need or are stuck, the support team sets up a call and helps in resolving the issue/provides workarounds.

I attended two training sessions. I would rate them a 4 as an advanced user. It was very basic – great for someone new – would give 8+ for new person.

I had 3 years of experience at the time. I skipped basic and went onto advanced and still not helpful. A lot of it was best practices that didn’t feel relevant for our business

Just from an organizational standpoint - we standardized our data prior to moving to Salesforce. But we essentially standardized it wrong. That's created a big disgusting mess for us know that I'll have to deal with as the Admin. Be sure you think through use cases prior to doing something like that - seek outside opinions on how the data will work best, especially depending on what else you're going to integrate with Salesforce.

It offers flexible subscription models and can easily scale up or down based on the organization's requirements. Return on Investment
  • Lots of time wasted trying to get support.
  • Wasted time migrating data to and from the product.
  • Slow refresh speeds with a simple candidate lookup taking so long we resort to using the mobile application.
  • The terrible CV formatting capabilities require us to use 3rd party products.
  • Lack of automation makes it a very time consuming product to manage work flows on.
  • Slowed down the function of the office considerably when you look at the Bugs, the lack of support, the poor work flow for the CRM element.
  • Misleading analytics resulted in the team simply not trusting the reporting which effected performance.
  • Being tied to a product that wasn't fit for purpose has been hugely frustrating.

  • The inbox feature allows me to see when the customer opens my email, and hence a timely follow-up could result in a higher response rate.
  • The mobile app allows users to gain access to leads and customer contacts on the go, which increases sales team productivity and enhances customer conversations.
  • The reports of the notes on the account level are not working, which is causing manual work in the weekly report to leadership.
