KnowBe4 is much more simple than these platforms, & the company is able to designate which trainings & other informational videos to assign to its employees. The websites listed above have way too much information in them. They are great resources but can be overwhelming …
KnowBe4 Compliance Plus has been a much more feature rich and preferred platform. There has been some disparity in reception of content delivery, but overall we find the training more effective.
KnowBe4 has cornered the market on phishing simulation training, but their real gem is their training platform. The platform is super easy to setup, manage, and has great automation tools. Makes management trivial and if for some reason you do have an issue, their support …
Skill Cast provides Client Money and Assets (CASS) related modules which we would like KnowBe4 Compliance Plus to also provide so that we have a 1 stop shop for all our training content.
Knowbe4 was far and away the best product we looked at and we got a great price. I believe it was not the cheapest, but far and away the best price for what we were getting.
It is a great supplement to your normal security awareness training and phishing products. Especially if your company is pursuing compliance certification, it will bring numerous benefits for educating people and saving lots of time and resources internally.
KnowBe4 Compliance Plus has a massive an customizable library for a really fair price, where competition may charge more and include tools and features you may not use. I've felt that the depth of KnowBe4 Compliance Plus training library more than makes it worth a whole …
I am not quite sure what this question is asking. Are you asking about other KnowBe4 products or other products in general. I was using a different platform for creating staff awareness, switched to KnowBe4 Compliance Plus as it was much easier to navigate, setting up training …
I have not evaluated other products or platforms. KnowBe4 Compliance Plus meets my company's needs and is a great investment. I am not looking at other options as they check all my boxes and make it easy to track, deploy, and enjoy mandatory trainings to keep my company and my …
When evaluating KnowBe4 Compliance Plus against Curricula, the deciding factor for our organization was KnowBe4's expansive and regularly updated content library, which comprehensively addresses a wide range of global compliance standards. KnowBe4’s platform also excelled in …
The best part of Rippling was that it integrates directly with your system already. The training modules are vastly better in KnowBe4 Compliance Plus and I would thoroughly recommend this product over Rippling.
Cost was the main barrier to entry for the other products we evaluated. KnowBe4 Compliance Plus was priced more competitively by a significant amount. Also, other platforms didn't offer the same breath of compliance training compared to KnowBe4 Compliance Plus. Ultimately we …
I've used Skillsoft in the past and in my opinion KnowBe4's Compliance Plus is easier to use and offers a better training experience. In my current position I haven't looked at other products simply because we like Compliance Plus and it does everything that we need it to do at …
Other platforms we have tested and used require a higher administrative burden due to the nature of self-hosting. Being a cloud-based SaaS takes a lot of the administrative burden away from the platform.
For our HR trainings, we used to use BambooHR. We still use them for onboarding and a few other things, but we now use KnowBe4 for any/all security and HR trainings. That is because KnowBe4 has many more selections of trainings and a much easier way to track who has and hasn't …
It's like night and day. TerraNova has far too many system limitations. Content was very limited, it was boring, repetitive, and never really improved our cyber security position. It was just a box ticking exercise. The platform was brutal to use, and required a lot of …
Pricing and better US-based support. It was tough reconnecting with the resource manager who was based in Ireland and was typically leaving work for the day when I was roughly starting. This made some difficulty in getting the tool prepped for the environment. Also the …
Lynda is a very similar experience. Used it for a very short time and it was tied to classes at a university that I was taking. I think overall it would be very comparable. We only watched small segments that the instructors of the class found to be relevant. It was also great …
It had more discounted offers back then... and still, more marketing is done. It's cheaper than LinkedIn Learning. Downside, PluralSight is more [theoretical] than hands-on.
Before using Pluralsight, staff was using YouTube to help them with developing certain aspects of their knowledge. However, YouTube is much less structured/organized than Pluralsight. Pluralsight has a very wide offering of courses and it has lot of good content. One quick …
Pluralsight is simply more robust and makes more sense for an organization like ours where we want our employees to have the freedom to explore a wide variety of disciplines, and the adaptability to start/stop courses at any skill level. On a trial basis, the feedback from our …
Pluralsight offers a much stronger technology learning opportunity than Lynda.com, but lags behind Lynda.com in its soft skills training. As a technical manager, I often recommend Pluralsight to my engineers for learning new skills but will use Lynda.com myself for improving my …
Although alternative e-learning platforms, such as Coursera, offer a wide variety of learning topics, their broad reach and extensive list subject matter clutters their platform. Unlike Pluralsight, Coursera offers a more classic / regimented style of online learning. It's very …
Treehouse and Pluralsight are in similar realms: video content for technology professionals. They're different in that Treehouse is geared towards beginners and people looking to switch careers to break into the industry and Pluralsight is better suited for seasoned …
Pluralsight offers a broad range of courses with high-quality content and features that surpass those of Udemy. My organization has adopted Pluralsight and built trust in it, especially with its strong offerings at the organizational level. In contrast, Udemy focuses more on …
I think pluralsight's price point is a little better, and I think the depth and breadth of classes offered is oriented more towards my field than Coursera. While Coursera has a nicer interface, Pluralsight, at the time, had more classes and seems to be designed for enterprise …
Pluralsight has a broader offering, from design and drawing to enterprise software development. It offers content from professionals to professionals on well known technologies. Most other competitors focus on few technologies and the offering is not as rich. They also don't …
I often purchase courses on from Udemy when I don't see the content I need from Pluralsight. For example, When I needed to learn AngularJS, Pluralsight had many courses but the ones on Udemy quickly explained what they were going to build in the course and they provided small …
Pluralsight is a great training resource and it was offered at the college. Before being a faculty member, I found free videos from Pluralsight (then, digital tutors) via YouTube and thought they were very helpful.
The entire suite does well to accommodate any compliance training needs my organization has. It is easy to configure, maintain, and create reporting on. We have it enabled to be managed by our HR team for HR related trainings and our tech admins oversee any other requirements that our teams may have. Overall a solid product.
Awesome tool for teams looking to gain new skills or refine and update existing skills. I love the convenience of using this tool for recertification credits (i.e. PMP). Instead of identifying which classes I need to take, I can identify my interests and have recommendations presented for what paths I should take. It is a really helpful tool to create ladders for my team to transition from one role into the next. I think this is going to be a really beneficial tool.
Pluralsight courses are delivered at a self-directed pace, enabling users to stop, rewind, or fast forward, depending on their familiarity with the content.
Pluralsight offers a wide variety of technical courses, providing opportunities to explore new skill areas beyond engineers' current responsibilities.
Pluralsight is available on most platforms, providing a high level of accessibility to the content.
perhaps some pre-built content packages as template starters would be helpful
some better explanation of what features exist in which places and how they work
content customization of what topics I want under my eyes and which I do not - to cut down on the selections ("Do not show this again" or "Hide this" or "Save as a Favorite")
more functionality to save content topics into personal collections for later use
We do simply love all the products . This is the best platform we have ever used . Employees like the variety of all the module. We love the fact they are offered in so many languages. The in house produced series is so interesting. The employees no longer feel like it’s arduous.
From the admin side, the layout of KnowBe4 Compliance Plus is very user friendly and allows you to setup what is needed when it comes to different trainings, automatically assigning trainings to users if they've failed simulations, etc. The reporting makes it easy to identify who might need additional training. For the users, the interface clearly shows what trainings have been assigned and the deadline to complete those trainings, lets you know what trainings have already been complete, etc. It lays it out very simple to make it easy to understand for everyone.
It's always available. We have rarely encountered any issues at all. The fact that we have an assigned account manager, ensures we are getting very rapid responses and acknowledgement. This person quickly escalates any issues to the technical team and we usually get a resolution within a day or two
Everything loads quite rapidly, and this has never been an issue. The automated summary reports that are sent to me remove me from even having to go run them. I love this platform. It's changed the way I work, and we have used a few different platforms in the past. Anybody looking should look no further. This is the best! Forget the rest.
Our Customer Success Manager is amazingly helpful and responsive. She meets with us every month to go over new features and help us with campaigns. Also, when we email her with questions, she usually turns around an answer in a couple of hours and never longer than a day. KnowBe4 Compliance Plus has dedicated people who really take care of their customers after the sale.
KnowBe4 has cornered the market on phishing simulation training, but their real gem is their training platform. The platform is super easy to setup, manage, and has great automation tools. Makes management trivial and if for some reason you do have an issue, their support team is top notch and will help you solve any problem or use case you might need
Treehouse and Pluralsight are in similar realms: video content for technology professionals. They're different in that Treehouse is geared towards beginners and people looking to switch careers to break into the industry and Pluralsight is better suited for seasoned professionals that want to hone skills and learn enterprise-level topics. Treehouse is able to really simplify a topic for almost anyone to understand. They clearly have a standard that all teachers ("authors") must follow. After a section, there's a good chance you'll take a short quiz to make sure you understand what you heard. Quizzes are not just multiple choice, you might also have to write a piece of code that accomplishes a goal that was just discussed. Pluralsight has professional and expert level content that Treehouse does not. There's not a strict standard that all authors ("teachers") must follow for providing content. Authors tend to have their own style of teaching. Very few of the courses will quiz you on comprehension. You are more responsible for your understanding of the information.
We love the variety of training available. The training is available in available in numerous languages for our international business. There is always new training is constantly being released. Our users find the training entertaining yet informative. We love pushing out training on a monthly basis and making it smaller chunks. This really resonates with our busy employees. It's great that we have so much selection and that it is broken down in small chunks. I get excited when I see new training. It really gives me comfort knowing that KnowBe4 is staying on top of current and evolving trends, and rapidly releasing content. AI is occurring almost everywhere we look these days, and it's great to see freshly released content coming out a very regular basis. Being able to target different divisions within our organization with targeted job specific training is a game changer. We even have our board of directors taking training designed for executives. The tracking and the reporting also really help show the improvement, and those that need more work. The fact that we can automate training that are launched when users start within our organization also eliminated the need for manual intervention, giving me my time back as an administrator
The time saved looking for, reviewing, distributing and tracking learning/training sessions has greatly reduced as we moved to KnowBe4 Compliance Plus Dashboard. Everything is in one place and new content comes out often.
Individualized, train at your own pace, sessions have been a big plus for our employees. No more sitting in a classroom with others. They can now do it whenever it fits their schedule/workload.
Pluralsight is truly cost-effective for staying relevant. An annual Pluralsight subscription for an entire team is far more cost-effective than sending one individual to in-person training for a week.
When we need to get up to speed on a technology, our Pluralsight subscription is right at hand. One quick search and we can get started. This helps us shorten the learning curve. Trying to find an in-person course has become difficult because the market has mostly transitioned to online courses.
