Much easier on the eyes to read and use. This app needs a few more small items added but does not need to become a super powerful expense app. The simplicity is why I use it.
Expensify seems like a superior product. They make things simple. You can forward your email receipts to them to automatically scan and report are automatically submitted weekly.
We evaluated a host of other options. TravelBank best suited the needs of our small organization as it is affordable and not complex. It does just what we need.
It stacks up right next to concur. They're both great products; they are complementary, not competitors. We used to use Rocketrip, which was complete garbage. I like that I get rewards on Uber. I like that I get rewards on Amazon. I wish I could get hotel rewards, not just …
It is much easier to use than Concur, but typically Concur is mandated to use. We also quickly tried other apps but found that TravelBank was the best. Other apps had issues in trying to recognize the amount if a tip was added and often failed. This is why I like entering in …
I have used Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, Delta.com, and many other sites/apps. None of them offer the employee incentive to save the company money and none of them, to my knowledge, sync with Expensify. TravelBank just makes booking business travel easier for both the end user …
TripIt is cheap and easy to use. While the other apps and way more expensive and not so much easy to use at all. Google had a good travel app but for no reason it was discontinued.
TripIt is designed specifically to help individuals manage their travel info in one place. Before I used TripIt, I had to manually save my travel info in a Google Drive folder, add flights to my personal calendar, then manage multiple airline apps to get flight alerts. TripIt …
I haven't evaluated any others. I have been happy with TripIt so I have not felt the need to find others. I am not really aware of any others. I might eventually looks at others if TripIt stops coming up with enhancements. I have no plans to search yet.
I've tried google trips and Tripcase in the past, but it doesn't work as smooth as TripIt. They sometimes don't recognize the confirmation emails that I forwarded them.
I have not used or evaluated any other tool. Once I forwarded my first email and had it automatically show up in my itinerary, I was sold. There might be some other alternatives worth investigating which I have not used.
Earlier in my review, I talked about how my company implemented Concur and offered TripIt as an add-on. While Concur offers a mobile app that gives you some of your itinerary information, it doesn't have the same focus as a "one-stop-shop" that TripIt does. This is why TripIt …
TripIt has more features and is easier to use. More user-friendly. The pro version has several other benefits such as the ability to look for alternate flights and track reward points, seating, airport wait times for security, lounge buddy credit, more real-time updates, fares …
The company-wide implementation of TravelBank greatly increased the efficiency of our expense reimbursement process. It mitigated many pain points such as errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in our manual Excels that were very hard to version control and track through the approval/reimbursement process. Overall, TravelBank has made all of our lives easier!
TripIt is one of those business apps that, while not strictly required, represents a huge quality of life improvement for those of us who travel regularly for work. Capturing your itinerary information in one place, so you have one point of reference is a great benefit. When you couple that with relevant notifications about your itinerary, and an Apple Watch app for quick at-a-glance information about your travel plans, you really can't beat it. Highly recommended.
Ease of use - TravelBank is super user-friendly and easy to use whether you use the platform online or through their app.
Ability to effectively track expense submission, approval and reimbursement process. TravelBank allows users to see exactly where their expense report is in the process.
Expanding the hotel offerings - they already have a huge inventory, but it would be great to have more AirBnB-like options
I've found particularly with flights that the employee rewards are much less - I realize that is just a function of airfare costs, but it feels like most of the time I need to go over budget
I have been using it for a while now and I did renew it every year because it is the best way for me to keep my travel plans in one place with easy visualization
It is very easy to use and you can combine with Apple Watch por easier usage. Also, it can be synchronised with your gmail for automatically update your travel plans and that ways is even more helpful.
pages load fast, notifications are great. up to minute. after deboarding- my next steps are displayed. Syncs with the hotel & frequent flyer rewards programs too.
I have had 2 instances where the hotel double charged me and it took months to get back. I was never given a reason why and no one followed up with me -- I just got the money in my account one day and would have never known had I not been looking at my account that day,
This rating is solely based on information I've gotten for TripIt's self-help options. I've never had to contact them directly for support. Nonetheless, their online FAQ and knowledgebase have provided answers to all the questions I've had, including the lack of a boarding pass feature that I mentioned earlier in my review. All in all, I've had no issues here.
It stacks up right next to concur. They're both great products; they are complementary, not competitors. We used to use Rocketrip, which was complete garbage. I like that I get rewards on Uber. I like that I get rewards on Amazon. I wish I could get hotel rewards, not just AirBNB rewards.

I'm not in the finance department, but I'd guess our travel spend per employee has reduced since we started using TravelBank.
We now have one travel supplier, with flights and hotels paid from a central account, rather than everyone booking through a variety of channels with their own card. In case of emergency, the company knows which flight you're on, which hotel you're staying at.
