Great tool but for general purpose

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AdEspresso by Hootsuite was a great product when we were using it. They have a great A/B test and manage features for ad sets. After Hootsuite bought the product, we couldn't see any updates for a long time. At the same time, Facebook Business Manager was getting better and better at testing and budgeting. We switched to Facebook Business Manager, which is free and nearly covers all the features we want.

I can easy say that tool is nice and allows you to do a lot, but it is outdated, in my opinion.

Pros

  • A/B testing
  • Mass advertising
  • Budget and finance

Cons

  • UI/UX
  • Better ad management

Likelihood to Recommend

The companies with fewer staff to manage ads and that need an all-in-one solution for ad management. It's not for niche companies. If you have a more general purpose company and product, AdEspresso by Hootsuite allows you to easy scale for ads and testing.

AdEspresso is a great starter tool if you want to get serious about Facebook & LinkedIn advertising!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used AdEspresso [by Hootsuite] for our internal and client social media advertising. It is a great tool because it allows you easy create and schedule Facebook and LinkedIn ads, using previously saved audiences. It's very user friendly and allows you to plan out your budget and execute your objectives, offering advice along the way so you can get the most out of your budget.

Pros

  • Very user friendly tool that makes it so easy to create ads
  • There are lots of prompts and drop downs so you know what to include
  • Offers advice for getting the most out of your budget
  • Easy to split test ads and see what's working best

Cons

  • It is a bit limited in features, for example can't do everything that you can do in Facebook's Business Manager
  • There are certain levels, depending on budget, so you'll have to pay more to use it the higher your budget is
  • Could use an update for Lead Ad creation, found it very tough and couldn't get things to synch correctly.

Likelihood to Recommend

[AdEspresso is] great if you have a smaller budget or are just getting started with Facebook advertising. You can easily create ads and publish them in minutes after everything is set up for your account. I would recommended trying it if you don't have a lot of experience, but not to manage a large account with multiple clients (10+)
