What is AkkenCloud?

AkkenCloud is a cloud-based ATS developed by Akken Inc in New Hampshire. This product offers the full suite of features typical of applicant tracking systems:

  • A user-friendly interface and mobile device integration
  • Batch or mass communication with potential candidates via multiple channels such as email or by leveraging its integration with social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Instantaneous posting to multiple job boards
  • Job alerts and category sorted RSS feeds of jobs
  • Career page customization through their partnership with Haley Marketing
  • Resume parsing
  • Data and document uploading
  • A smart referral tracking and management program that allows recruiters to set specific referral awards and bonuses for varying roles.

The vendor says that its analytic capabilities allow for total control of the recruiting process. AkkenCloud's Front Office edition houses its ATS features. The All In edition contains the Front Office capabilities and combines them with the capabilities of the Back Office edition into one single offering. Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use AkkenCloud to create new or update candidate profiles, submit them to job orders, hire them, and track what they applied. It addresses keeping everything in one place and displaying communication methods between recruiters.

Pros

  • Leaving notes is a simple process
  • It easily displays candidate information
  • It easily tracks similar profiles

Cons

  • Organization
  • There should be a quicker process to hire candidates

Return on Investment

  • Sometimes the system is slow and the process of hiring someone is lengthy so it takes a long time to complete it so it takes away from other things I could be working on
  • It’s easy and quick to manage candidates to show what process they’re in

Cons

  • Sometimes it does not obtain all of the information when the resumes are uploaded
  • It logs me out randomly on occasion

  • It has saved time when it comes to finding important information (time card hours, billing information, etc.)
  • It is great at sending out communication to employees/employers (mass emails)
  • Great at applicant tracking; great source to finding the right candidates, past, present, or future.

Pros

  • This tool offers a very user-friendly and intuitive interface along with mobile device integration.
  • This product has provided us with great customer service because whenever we faced any problems the tool took quick measures to solve those.
  • Also, I really liked the fact that the tool has given us the positive impact of setup CRM groups just to add employees.
  • Moreover, this tool is one of the very few and good systems that caters to all the applicant tracking information.

Cons

  • I feel that the emails should be slightly quick instead of causing a hassle to the user because of going to the server after every 5 minutes.
  • At a few instances I experienced that the system crashed for no specific reason which was an off because it just caused disturbances.

Return on Investment

  • The user-friendly and intuitive interface has made all of the people in the organization use this system easily which has saved training costs.
  • The analytic capabilities present in the tool have allowed us to take control over the recruitment process which is a good thing for our business.
