Cisco Umbrella helps act as a proxy to filter malicious domains and URLs, all the while providing DDoS protection and an extra layer of security, so that Cisco Umbrella is making the internet queries on behalf of our company. Umbrella also provides forensics so we can trace any malicious attacks.

We use Cisco Umbrella to prevent our users from accessing websites that might infect the network. We are able to filter our web traffic and create policies to allow exceptions. We have been able to create policies for different departments as well as different categories. We can also block specific domains and TLD's that are deemed to have a negative effect.

Return on Investment

  • It's hard to provide a specific dollar amount or time saved by using Cisco Umbrella but I know that by using it, we have prevent phishing attacks that if they occurred would have cost us much valuable time and money.
