Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had to hire over 100 employees within a matter of months and Equifax made our restricted background screening process flow seamlessly. The portal was always easy to log into and use and reports were readily available in a timely manner. I never had an issue not being able to access the platform.

We were a financial institution so our screenings were highly regulated and compliance with state and federal laws had to be number one. Equifax allowed us to customize our screenings and reporting to fit all the needs of the regulatory requirements. Our rep was also very helpful at answering my questions when we had a new regulation come up.

Equifax Workforce Solutions is a great tool to help with HR, payroll, tax management, and compliance needs of employers everywhere. I used this program with an agency I worked for over a year ago and it helped us address employee needs with ease and organization. So helpful! We love this program.

LawLogix Guardian Delivers on its Promises.

LawLogix Guardian is used for new hires to fill out their I-9 forms. It is also key in compliance for our organization, with the ability to verify the employment status of our employees as well as being able to retain any past or current I-9s for as long as we need to or have to.

LawLogix Guardian is well suited for companies who want or need to keep digital I-9 records in a safe and convenient place. LawLogix Guardian also keeps you up to date on all compliance practices for the country or state that you're in, ensuring that you stay compliant to the best of your abilities. One scenario where LawLogix falters is a very specific scenario of hiring minors without a Driver's License. In certain states, items such as report cards can be used in lieu of certain identifying documents. However, there is no accommodation for that in the current I-9 form.

Track employee performance with ease.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Guardian provides a format for meaningful reviews of Use of Force, Pursuits and officer involved motor vehicle crashes. It also serves as our Early Warning System software to track officer complaints, tardiness use of force and other categories that may point to an officer being at risk. We will also do monthly performance reviews utilizing Guardian, so that supervisors can map an improvement plan for a given officer, and report on follow-up to that plan. But our most common use of Guardian is to note exceptional performance. Officers respond well when they see comments from supervisors telling them they did a good job.

  • Keep administration aware of entries with immediate email reminders that an entry has been made on an employee.

Cons

  • There should be a means to edit the entry after you have saved it. Sometimes the writer will make an error in spelling and it's permanently saved to the record. Minor issue.
  • Easier way to save entries to your desktop (for proofs).

Likelihood to Recommend

Guardian makes completing meaningful reviews very easy. As long as you set up boxes in a given field that need meaningful review it will be there every time you need to do one. If four officers had to use force on a resisting subject, all of the meaningful review entries are done on one entry form. If you find that one officer needs to be retrained in an area you can simply create a new entry and associate the meaningful review as needed
