We used Google Forms for some of our internal forms that needed to be filled in along with some internal surveys. The problems addressed were the need for an easy to use tool to send out the surveys. It was also a great option given the price point of the solution.
Pros
Easy to use
Great for surveys/forms
Good price
Cons
I did not experience any issues

It is great for simple survey needs. It's an easy to use tool and can be picked up by anyone. Our use case was super simple as we did not have any complex needs, so we did not have to go too deep in exploring all the functionality offered.
We use Google Forms to get feedback from users. It has a very simple and understandable interface. The fact that most people know about Google Forms gives people confidence.
Pros
Very basic UI.
Suitable for all ages.
One of the most reliable products.
Cons
Unfortunately, there are very few customization possibilities.
Generally good for smaller organizations. Can't recommend for large organizations
You cannot add your own domain and branding.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is best for getting live feedback. For example, we can get our landing page feedback quickly.
But you can't get very detailed data or do A/B testing. So I don't recommend it for real scientific purposes.

Google Forms is one of the most used tools of the Google suite in our organization, its use is given both in the commercial area as in the operational part, daily our technical support analysts record the incidents and failures of each area of our IT infrastructure and in turn records the different affected equipment, this allows us to weigh and analyze in real time the impact with a simple crossing of data in a pivot table, this process was manual and with the implementation of Google Forms saved us diagnostic time.
Pros
Capture of information from clients and/or consultants for real-time analysis.
Knowledge evaluation for our work team, the predefined templates allow the creation of tests and knowledge tests that are very didactic and easy to grade.
The acquired data is cleanly integrated with google spreadsheets allowing for fast and accurate analysis.
The form completion notifications are customizable and do their job well.
Cons
Perhaps the main disadvantage is the customization, definitely the templates available are very limited and the fonts are reduced.
It does not natively accept electronic signatures, so it is necessary to resort to external plug-ins.
We would like to be able to implement pre-determined answers in order to evaluate concise points to our work team.
Creation of customized templates in order to share them with the rest of the organization, with your own logos and signatures.

From my point of view, the following are some of the favorable and unfavorable points of the tool:
Favorable in:
Capture and collection of customer information regardless of the geographical area where it is located, just share the link to the form.
2. Real time analysis of the information collected with the help of Google Sheets spreadsheet functions.
3. Formative evaluations since it has different types of answers and its implementation can be at business and student level.
Unfavorable in:
1. Lacks variety of templates which limits customization 2.
2. If you want to collect large volumes of information the tool presents difficulties because it is limited to the number of cells that the spreadsheet allows.
We use Google Forms as an easy way to collect client satisfaction data from our customers. We can tailor our questions to our customers to ask for specific feedback on our service, allowing us to continually improve. We also use it to collect voluntary reviews and testimonials that we can then share as social proof to market our services to new clients.
Pros
Easy editing UI.
Simple, customizable logic.
Flexible sharing and sending options.
Easy to access data for collection and export.
Cons
Not as customizable in terms of design/styling.
Basic logic options are great for simple applications but not for more complex needs.

Google Forms is a great application for creating simple surveys, collecting answers to questionnaires, and soliciting testimonials and feedback. Its easy-to-use interface requires little learning so it's perfect for beginners or those less experienced in advanced survey creation software. The design and styling options are somewhat limited, but there is some customizability with the color palette.
Google Forms is included with our Google Workspace plan and is available to anyone in the organization. Different departments use it for various surveys. My department in particular uses it for user research, recruiting, and internal questionnaires. It helps get data and results quickly when we have a target group of participants.
Pros
Google Forms is extremely easy and simple to use.
Google Forms integrates directly with Google Sheets and other Google services.
It's very easy to manage access and sharing settings.
Cons
The question types are very basic.
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Forms is great when you need to set up a quick survey. It's very fast and easy to use, and most people are familiar with it. However, it's probably not as appropriate for massive sample sizes or statistical research. It also doesn't always appear very professional in the business world compared to more robust solutions like Qualtrics.

We use it as a tool to collect information about possible failures of our services and identify through special forms if these failures correspond to specific areas or if they are particular failures of our customers and also allows us to make timely decisions that allow us to ensure short times of absence of our services. We also use it to update the information of our team of collaborators in a fast and effective way or when we are going to evaluate the information delivered in the training to land the information. We use it in all our departments just to collect different types of information depending on the area, with the forms we can collect relevant information in a fast and effective way.
Pros
Flexibility and ease of use.
The variety of options for the creation of forms and surveys allows for the efficient collection of information in any type of scenario.
It complements very well with excel.
It is multichannel.
Offers free version.
QR option for downloading forms and surveys.
Cons
More styling options should be included.
More customization features for form design, this is where it falls short.

Google Forms is ideal for process evaluation, satisfaction surveys, collecting data from a specific group of people including customers, for polls, surveys, knowledge measurement, for simple forms where quick and consistent answers are required, but it is not suitable for complex data collection as it requires advanced skills to do so.
Google Forms is a very simple way to collect data through an easily customizable form (think surveys, requests, applications, voting on different things - there are lots of use cases that pop up daily). It is used across the organization as a part of GSuite. Without Google Forms, there would be a lot of manual data compilation necessary.
Pros
Easy to use both as the person creating the form and completing the form
Easy to collaborate on the form with other GSuite users
Easy to share the results
Cons
Google Forms doesn't allow you to do much with formatting easily (i.e., bold certain parts of your question, put in nice looking links.)
Google Forms doesn't have as many advanced analytic features as a SurveyMonkey for instance; however it is nice for just needing the basics.
Likelihood to Recommend
Some great uses:
Collecting current mailing addresses
Employee applications for different mailing addresses
Collecting votes for a company event/prize
Less ideal:
Surveys with advanced data analytics needed

I use Google Forms as an assessment tool in my teaching. Students are able to use the form as an exit slip or opening activity and I can track student data easily. I have also used Google Forms as a way to gauge student interests in different performance repertoires. Google Forms also lends itself to research and data tracking. I have used Google Forms to complete my research as I pursue my master's degree.
Pros
Easy formatting
Easy organization
Simple distribution
Cons
Data collection could be improved
Customizations to change fonts and colors could be more intuitive
Locating within google drive can be cumbersome
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Forms is very well suited for collecting data, whether it be for lesson assessments, gauging interest, or creating application materials for volunteer positions. Google Forms makes things like collecting T-shirt sizes easier and less stressful. It works well in a school and corporate environment. Google Forms is not suited for more in-depth research that requires a more interactive survey.
We use Google Forms for basic event registration and other form needs that don't require integration with our CRM. It allows users to gather information without significant cost and needed training. It is easy to spin up another form when needed.
Pros
Easy to use, doesn't require IT support.
Submits to a Google Sheet for easy storage and reference.
It's easy to clone a form so you don't have to build from scratch.
Cons
Doesn't have built-in CRM integration.
Limited ability to customize UI.
Many different users spinning up forms can make data centralization difficult.
Likelihood to Recommend
Google forms are great for small businesses [that] don't have an IT department and don't have a centralized CRM. For larger companies, they will likely want a form solution to be integrated [into] their CRM and to have a bit more control over their form tools.

We have used Google Forms for several different projects. One was to gather user feedback as a simple questionnaire. Another use case we have is to gather inventory data as products move through our organization. We can track SKU, serial, purchaser, and delivery dates of hardware we provide.
Pros
Easy to create
Intuitive user interface
Easy connects to google sheets to gather data
Easy to distribute
Cons
Forms all generally look the same
Not much flexibility in customizing look and feel
Likelihood to Recommend
Very easy to quickly put together a form to gather any kind of data. This makes it simple to use forms as a way to test processes or gather data quickly.
