Use Cases and Deployment Scope

After being a JobAdder customer for over 3 years, we’ve made the decision to move away from the platform—and unfortunately, it hasn’t been an easy choice, but a necessary one.

While the platform initially met our needs, over time we’ve seen very little innovation or meaningful updates to the features that actually matter to our business. Basic functionalities remain clunky, reporting capabilities are limited, and support—while friendly—often lacks the depth needed for more technical or complex issues.

We also found that feedback we provided over the years was rarely actioned or acknowledged in a tangible way. As a growing business, we needed a system that could evolve with us and provide deeper insights and automation, and unfortunately, JobAdder no longer meets that bar.

We sincerely hope the team invests more in listening to long-term clients and prioritising real enhancements over surface-level updates. Thanks for the service over the past few years, but it’s time for us to move forward.

  • The reporting module is limited and lacks depth.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

JobAdder is our central business application. We use it to manage our opportunities pipeline, jobs and job advertisements, applicant workflow, and as a candidate and client CRM. Everyone in our organization uses the system. The software is easy to use, so it makes our jobs much less administrative so we can focus on high-value activities. The partner integrations provide additional and robust functionality, as well.

  • Partner Integrations are robust.
  • Easily configured to your specific processes.
  • Always adding new features and functionality.
  • Great customer support with highly knowledgeable and friendly support staff.

Cons

  • I love JobAdder...but Data/Reporting is a joke.
  • Would love to see more ability to mass update records.
  • Would love to see a multi-sort function from the list/grid view.
  • Would be great if the native text feature was available to US users (they have partner integration though).

I've already answered this question. JobAdder is easy to use, easy to configure, has great support, has a strong product roadmap, good partner integrations...really a top-notch platform.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

JobAdder is used by the talent acquisition team for all recruitment activities across the entire business. Hiring managers are also able to use the system via the intuitive and easy-to-use Hiring Manager Portal. Where we previously had to send CVs and get feedback from managers via a mess of back-and-forth email chains, JobAdder allowed for all recruitment activities, documents, and notes to stay within the one system. This assisted with transparency, speed, and efficiency - and allowed for flexibility in reassigning jobs to different recruiters since they could quickly understand the status of a recruitment job.

  • Job requisition process could be more fleshed out
  • Would be good to have different levels of access for different users
  • Having multiple workflow and email templates variations can quickly make things cluttered

Likelihood to Recommend

JobAdder is initially well suited to recruitment agencies and those concerned with tracking placements and fees, however, I've found the JobAdder team to be attentive to their customers and agile; they are quickly making huge strides in being an excellent choice for internal recruitment teams. The rate at which system improvements and additions have been rolled out has been astonishing and exciting. The mobile app is user-friendly and useful, and the third-party integrations allow for a customized workflow that suits your workflow and budget requirements.

This software has been beneficial by incorporating the whole team into our decision-making when it comes to new designs and ideas. So far, we have been able to include all individuals in the organization to have a say in the candidates coming through the system. The cloud system allows access to all profiles from anywhere, which has been a significant factor due to the pandemic/ remote work as a whole.

Likelihood to Recommend

This software is used to implement multiple applicant tracking systems. Because of the cloud system, access to profiles is easy and can be shared amongst the company as a whole. It is well-suited in generally simplified companies and those that may need to work from home due to personal reasons. This may not be too beneficial in a setting with a large number of company members due to too many opinions.
