JobAdder is an Applicant Tracking System and recruitment tool designed to automate many of the mundane tasks associated with finding new employees. Recruiters can take advantage of its many features in order to save themselves time and improve the overall experience for the job seeker.

Disappointed Long-Term Customer Time to Move On

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

After being a JobAdder customer for over 3 years, we’ve made the decision to move away from the platform—and unfortunately, it hasn’t been an easy choice, but a necessary one.

While the platform initially met our needs, over time we’ve seen very little innovation or meaningful updates to the features that actually matter to our business. Basic functionalities remain clunky, reporting capabilities are limited, and support—while friendly—often lacks the depth needed for more technical or complex issues.

We also found that feedback we provided over the years was rarely actioned or acknowledged in a tangible way. As a growing business, we needed a system that could evolve with us and provide deeper insights and automation, and unfortunately, JobAdder no longer meets that bar.

We sincerely hope the team invests more in listening to long-term clients and prioritising real enhancements over surface-level updates. Thanks for the service over the past few years, but it’s time for us to move forward.

Pros

  • JobAdder is known for its clean, intuitive, and modern UI
  • JobAdder simplifies job distribution with one-click posting to multiple job boards

Cons

  • The reporting module is limited and lacks depth.
  • There’s a lack of candidate self-service features, like portals where applicants can update their profiles, upload documents, or track application progress.
  • Automation is basic compared to competitors like Bullhorn or Vincere.

  • The ability to post to multiple job boards from one platform, along with automated candidate tracking, has saved recruiters admin time
  • Rigid workflows make it difficult to scale or tailor the system
  • Slow product updates and minimal evolution in core features over time can lead to stagnation.

Pros

  • Searching the database is easy.
  • Partner Integrations are robust.
  • Easily configured to your specific processes.
  • Always adding new features and functionality.
  • Great customer support with highly knowledgeable and friendly support staff.

Cons

  • I love JobAdder...but Data/Reporting is a joke.
  • Would love to see more ability to mass update records.
  • Would love to see a multi-sort function from the list/grid view.
  • Would be great if the native text feature was available to US users (they have partner integration though).

Return on Investment

  • We have eliminated tons of data entry which allows us to focus more time on high-value tasks and allows us to get more work done in less time.
  • The partner integrations have helped improve our branding and marketing considerably.
  • Very easy to get new recruiters onboarded and trained.

Excellent value for money for an easy-to-use and constantly improving product

  • Would be good to have different levels of access for different users
  • Having multiple workflow and email templates variations can quickly make things cluttered
