KnowBe4's Compliance Plus training combines interactive real-life simulated scenarios to help teach users how to respond in a challenging situation. The content addresses difficult and sometimes chaotic topics like sexual harassment, diversity and inclusion, discrimination, and business ethics. Compliance Plus includes various types of media formats and reinforcement materials to support an organization's compliance training program.

KnowBe4 is simply the best training platform available. They have thought of everything from a user standpoint and ensure that it is friendly, informative, and easy to use. We don't plan on ever using anyone else!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use compliance plus for a number of required trainings throughout the District. Our main focus is on cyber security, however we have also utilized a number of HR related trainings as well. Those include Blood Borne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment, Ergonomics, Active Shooter/Intruder, among others.

  • Ease of printing of certificates for employees is cumbersome
  • Ability to run thorough reports for users when trainings are completed.

We use compliance plus for 2 of our major annual compliancy trainings, Title IX and Sexual Harassment. Before getting compliance plus, it was hard to get these trainings sent out and completed and the platforms we used before were clunky and cumbersome. Now being able to roll in our Title IX and Sexual Harassment trainings into our current KnowBe4 platform makes this annual training a breeze to complete. We have also gotten plenty of compliments from our end-users saying how easy it is in to complete their training

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The training KnowBe4 provides, like sexual harassment prevention videos and IT security training, is very easy for employees to use. It is a simple process, with informative videos that employees can access at any time before the deadline. We use KnowBe4 mostly for these trainings, addressing workplace requirements that all employees need training on in order to work for the company.

  • There should be a timer function to know how long employees have to be "in" the training to meet the time requirement to complete it

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Used for two reasons, one is for prevention of harmful emails. This includes training and phishing campaigns. Other is for LMS functions. This is incredibly valuable in maintaining NISP training requirements. Policy function is used for most NISP training as well as company policy distribution.

Pros

  • Setting up training/phishing campaigns. Clone feature is great.
  • Policy training function. This feature has been a real timesaver.
  • Catching harmful emails. Monthly campaigns keep folks from getting lackadaisical about looking at emails before opening.
  • Documentation of training via the LMS. Such a timesaver!

Cons

  • Creation of cvs file for user upload can be a bit vexing.
  • Last used notification templates being at the top of list vice bottom.
  • Ability to create custom reports vice editing reports that can be generated.
  • Ability to generate custom proprietary training vice using "Policy" function as a workaround.

Return on Investment

  • Man hours used to track training has been greatly reduced. Gone from ten hours to manage a training event to less than an hour. applying to over a dozen annual training events.
  • Recognition of harmful emails. Reporting of suspicious emails has greatly risen from one or two a month to over a dozen. Reduced reporting of spam as suspicious email as well.
  • Historical data base of completed events and associated data with events.

Making Compliance Convenient

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize the KnowBe4 Compliance Plus add-on to supply all appropriate trainings for our organization regarding compliance. This suite of trainings covers us for a wide range of compliance testing and even covers region specific training types. We have found the organization of the trainings, scheduling campaigns and moving through follow-up processes to be quite low impact and overall easy to manage. The training also seems to maintain a current state with any changes to existing compliance standards. We have noticed some updates to training content to maintain with industry changes, which has been very helpful. Overall I would recommend it based on our experience.
